LOL......Happy Birthday to me, (No, really thanks to everybody here, you are all really sweet and I deeply appreciate the friendship).
It's snowing like crazy here, but not as bad as NYC.
That being said, I was bored this morning so I went out a made a snowman in the field (first one in a long long time). It was a fun thing to do, so after making the snow guy I turned the horses out. Watching them circle around Mr. Snow Guy, but not getting to close, one of the girls finally got brave/curious enough to go up and check him out.......well actually she gave a nudge and Snow Guy kinda self-dectructed into several pieces. That was all it took for the girls to turn tail, buck, kick and run around like fools. A few minutes later all three were rolling on the ground/snow in what could only be described as synchronized rolling. Then up and running around again.......They do love the cold weather  and the snow.

New Total Expected for NW Jersey by Friday Night 12 inches of the white stuff.
Ah......for Katie and all the rest of you Texans.......The cold here tonight is going to be between -10 and -20 degrees below zero.

She's got THAT right!

We're in the midst of a blizzard right now. It's snowing like crazy and there's a ferocious wind. The temp's around 25 right now, but the 30 mph wind makes it feel like it's 10.

And, once the storm passes this evening, the temp's supposed to drop to low teens.

It's been pretty warm in Tucson.  It reached 78F today.  Tonight's lows in the mid 40's.

Holy Hell Thawing Out!
Just checked the temps (4:30 AM CST).  It's 14 above zero F.  Had two weeks of sub zero lows with highs maybe in the single digits, tho' may times never got above zero.  We have a week of above normal temps it looks like, then back to normal.  Soon it with be June and we can start hoping that spring will come again. :emot_cheerlead:

Morning in the NJ foot Hills......(LOL).
It's a nice 8 degrees here, "but" no wind for a change.

36 degrees but 3 inches of snow for the drive in this morning.

This is the first day in the past 2 weeks that the temperature has gone over 20 degrees.   And the first time in the past week that it has been over 8 degrees.  Most of those days were in the windchill of negatives.

Forecast high for today is 0C with a (forgive my headshaking here) snowfall warning saying we are to expect up to 15cm of snow (approx. 6 inches). This is Alberta, damn it. It snows in January for fuck sakes. And the forecast is for this accumulation to fall as light snow - not a blizzard.

Anyways, the forecast for tomorrow is for -11C as a high, -23/-24 on Wednesday through Friday then warming back up to -11C on Saturday.

I swear, the temperatures this winter have been up and down like a whore's drawers on pay day  ;D

Snow is pretending to fall.Since getting up 4 hours ago, the light dusting has turned into a slightly heavier dusting. -18C (0F) right now.

50 degrees with no wind.  A week ago it was -20 windchill.   70 degrees different.

The meltdown is on.   Freeways are sloppy wet.  The station I was listening to was saying the road commission is worried about the dropping temps the next two days and most roads will be ice with all the melting going on.
