I prefer nights in the 60's and days in the 70-80's.

Right now we have lows in the 80's (nights) and highs of about 100 (days).

We went tubing down a river yesterday.  It was 4 hours floating slowly down the river with not a cloud in the sky and 85 degrees.   So nice.

We're ziplining today.   Weather supposed to be a bit cooler.   It''s been a wonderful trip so far.

Toe -to be honest, Chicago's official temperatures at taken at O'Hare and run at least 5 degrees cooler then at Midway.  8)  Yesterday at 6pm it was 96 by us.

Just when everything was turning brown due to the heat and dry conditions, we had an all night storm roll through. Should help some because next week will be back up in the 90s.

Finally, some cooler weather. Two weeks of heat and worse, high humidity kept the air conditioners running night and day. I miss the fresh air and quiet too. The cats enjoy the open windows too.

Woke up to mid 60s and lower humidity. Cats went out when we got back from the gym at 7:30, and we're still out at 10:15. Temps up to mid 70s now and still comfortable.

Hope we can get a few more days of this. :D

Much needed rain.  And it is coming down hard.   My water bill is going to be out of sight from using the sprinklers this summer.   I just had Dan go turn the lawn irrigation system off.

Grass is pretty hardy and will go dormant if not watered but not many like brown grass.

Was a cool 70 this morning when we walked, temp and humidity shot up in the morning, then a cold front swept in on strong north winds bringing rain and temps back in the 70s. Now humid and warm again.
