Its been almost a week since I've had an decent night sleep.  I'm either waking up every hour or I wake up once and can't fall back to sleep.  Not sure if it's my MS doing it or some other stresser.  I know watcher has a theory, but I doubt that's it.

Just give me 4-6 in interrupted hours and I'll be thankful.

Hey!  What theory could that be?    8)

I honestly don't even remember the last time I had a decent night's sleep.  Two weeks I think?  It has all blended into one nonstop struggle.  Sleep aids are not helping and I don't want to keep taking them.  Might have to swipe some sedatives from work (just kidding)

Guess that ridiculous gif worked.

Seven hours of uninterrupted sleep.  Had a rough morning shaking the melatonin out of my system, but now I'm feeling physically better than I have all month.

Took wife to work at 11 p.m., and fell asleep by 2 a.m.  Woke up at 4:00 a.m. to get my youngest to work by 5 a.m.  Woke up my oldest at 6 a.m. and made him breakfast to be at work at 7 a.m., which is the same time my wife needed to be picked up.  Then off to the courthouse to register my son’s truck... but wait!  It’s time to pick up my youngest!  “Don’t forget I have that appointment with the oral surgeon this afternoon...”. And people wonder why I’m tired all the time?

Well this has been a while.  Can not get comfortable.  I'm either too hot or too cold, can't find a happy medium.  Cant get comfortable in bed or on the couch.  Perhaps some sangria will do the trick.

Up at 2:00 AM to pee. Back to the rack. And that was that...wide awake. Tossed and turned for an hour. When the cat got pissed and left, I knew it was a lost cause. Guess I'll go look at porn until rest of the house wakes up.

Sorry, MS.

And I've quit the club.  Sleeping like a baby lately.

Don't worry, I'll likely rejoin at a later date.

Unfortunately I only sleep well if I drink something.  I don’t have to be drunk and I dream just fine, just sleep terrible on nothing or nothing those last hours before bed (like last night).  I dislike being drunk and avoid that almost completely, but a little sure helps.

Between the pandemic, and my wife working the night shift, my normal circadian rhythm is completely messed up. I’ve got to figure out a way to get a normal nights sleep. I was taking melatonin nightly for a while. But I got out of the habit. I might have a cocktail or two before bedtime. That seems to help. The problem is, the minute I lay down, I’m wide awake.

I used to suffer from insomnia and take various pills prescribed by my family doctor. Looking back, the meds he prescribed were overkill. It wasn't until I went to a neurologist that I found something that worked for me and didn't leave me comatose.

I don't know if we're talking about the same thing, but I have an adverse reaction to common sedatives. Even a tiny amount of codeine or tramadol in a pain-relief medication prevents me having good sleep. I lie in bed, nice and cosy, but don't drift off into dreamland.

I've been getting some decent sleep lately do to me finding my diffuser.  Every night I've got at least lavender, peppermint, and a citrus going.

I am going to officially kill my wife now. She woke me up every 5 to 10 minutes all night. The snoring, the moaning, the rolling around, fluffing pillows, turning on lights for a cigarette, shutting doors loudly, myoclonic jerking, poking me, the scooting over to the middle of the bed. I don’t have a guest bedroom available at the moment, and I hate sleeping on the couch with the dog. But lying there night after night, being tormented, it’s just absolutely driving me fucking crazy.

After hearing all that Toe, I'm so glad I just have a cat who stays in his own corner of the bed.

OK, the girl kitty is an early riser. Sometimes she'll hop up on the bed, get right in my face and start to purr loudly.  Any time between 3 and 4 AM.
