Day 13: Rode into town with my wife to visit two stores... the first one was closed for renovations  all trade being done at their next nearest branch about 30 miles away... The second store is on three levels... The items we wanted were on the top floor... was fine going up on the elevators... but no elevators down - the lift was out of order and three flights of steps...damned difficult and painful with the crutch...

Gave up and went home after that...

Day 16... the sun came out despite the strong wind I managed a short walk outside without using crutches for the first time for ages! Just have to go see the physio later in the week... hopefully all will be far more positive now.

Day 16...invited to a party at The Dream Cruise (a classis car event in a nearby city)   Was a real fun day with some old friends.  Lin and I were able to take a friends 67 Vette for a spin out on Woodward.  She was acting like she was in a parade and was waving like the princess she thinks she is.  Crowds were huge.

Day 17...Lin was surprised by her aunt earlier today.  She took her to her first concert this evening.   New Direction.  Lin was so happy she never stopped smiling when she found out.  Gotta love to see your child that happy.

Day 18... 2 things...
(1) Last week Becca mentioned PB&Jelly sandwiches in the Smooth or Crunchy thread.   Made me think I haven't had that in forever and planned on it over the weekend.   I didn't have an opportunity to have it this past weekend, but made two for lunch today.  Just half an hour ago, I had PB and bread stuck to the roof of my mouth.   Once I got it off the roof of my mouth I was happy.
(2) My Monday morning virtual cup of coffee with a friend.
