Pomposals?  I'm not familiar with those.  I tried to look them up, but all I got was Promposals.

I know, but she said that she planted pomposals (No R) in her yard.  I just don't know what that word means.  I found out about the portmanteau of Prom, and Proposal when I tried to look up what kind of flower pomposals are.  I assume they might be some sort of flower, but I'm not sure.

Does it count if I sear the scallops, then finish them in the oven?  I'm going to have to wait for John to get home, then see if they're available at HEB.  We get them from the Gulf, which is local enough for me, but it's also pretty seasonal.  I can't say at this point whether or not we'll be celebrating that, but Scallops are my favorite seafood, and I've been thinking about adapting a receipe I've been working on my head from the Halloween episode of Beat Bobby Flay.

Yes, I have on my Justin Verlander Tiger's jersey today.  Even though he isn't a Tiger anymore  :'( (they're much too expensive to get a new one).

Yes, my sister was a huge fan of Bob Seger and they went to every show when he played in the area.  Funny story, while Kevin went to shows, he wasn't a huge fan, but Karen was. Kevin spent an evening in a vendors suite at a Pistons game with him.  Seger was a close friend and neighbor of his vendor.   My sister was so mad because she was invited to go to the game but declined.  She ended up meeting him a year later at a pig roast at the vendor's home.  He had brought his guitar and sang a song just to her.

Insurance.   UGH.   Michigan is the highest state.   Detroit and the other major metro areas you can tack on another 10%.   This year for Mark, myself, plus the two girls, we'll pay $9200.   None of us have any points (tickets) on our licenses.  The girls are young, so they're each almost 50% more than mine alone.  It's ridiculous.
