You both have my sympathies MJ.  Fortunately I have never experienced a kidney stone but I understand they can be very painful.

Princess, would you like to see it light up and hum when I wave it about

Yikes, that even sounds painful. Give him our best.

I've been AWOL lately.   Hubby has a kidney stone as of Wednesday morning.  I've been playing nurse.  I finally got into work today for a few hours.  Still waiting for it to pass.  Fingers crossed it happens soon.

My son flew to grandparents’ place for Easter.  Grandmother has a kidney stone, so Easter has been basically called off.  I’ve been told it’s horrible.  Hope Hubby gets some relief.

Fucking exhausted...

A storm blew through late Thursday and split one of my two big trees in half.  Luckily it didn't squash my car, but it was hanging over it.  I just finished slicing and dicing it into 40 pound pieces and moving it to be picked up.  I think I moved around 3,000 pounds worth of tree today.  My back isn't happy about that.

Amazing what you can do with a battery-powered Sawzall, running on one battery while charging the other.

Remember the Golden Rule: you do me, and I\'ll do you (paraphrased)

S'mores at RF's house all summer long!!!

I love the Sawzall.   I never knew what it was.  I called my daddy a couple of summers ago and asked him to bring over his chainsaw.   He told me that Joe had a sawzall in the garage and to get the battery charged, he'd show me how to use it.  THAT THING IS BAD-*SS.   I use it all the time now.   One of my xmas gifts I asked for was new blades.  Mark told the guys at work I wanted tools for xmas, I've got serious street cred at Chrysler HQ now.

Mark hasn't passed his kidney stone yet.  But, the pain has been non-existent for 24 hours. Seems it has moved from the kidney to the bladder.   The worst is over, we hope.

I hope your back feels better, RF.

No, the poor lamb will have to pass it.
It’s the one thing that most resembles giving birth in men.

I want to find whoever thought it was a good idea to leave a tack strip in the middle of the living room floor, and beat them with a shark.

Been there, done that.   My daddy used to do a lot of remodeling at the house.  It was a accident waiting to happen anytime anybody walked into the room he was working on.

Yes, but this is a "Finished" floor.  Not just a tack strip lying out, they thought it would be cute if the kitchen tile transitioned to living room carpet in the middle of the floor, and someone thought it would be a good idea to use a tack strip.

In the middle, of the living room floor.

Staying up all night writing an appellate brief.  I got it finished, now it’s parsing, editing, drafting the table of authorities, etc.  Ugh.  Haven’t done this in maybe 25 years.

Beats the sleet/snow we had the past couple of weekends. More rain on the way.

Severely congested for 3 weeks now.  Yesterday and Sunday weren’t so bad, but today I’m feeling bad again.  I’m so stuffed up, I mostly can’t get any air moving to even blow my nose.  I was blaming the high pollen this year but never had a bad reaction previously.  One thing’s for sure, Claritin doesn’t help worth a fuck.
