Happy holidays, and an Orthodox blessed Nativity on the 7th, to you Psi.  We Orthodox get to celebrate everything twice.  And Easter candy is usually 50% off for Pascha.  Side benefits of the ancient faith.

The only holiday observance I do this time of year is stay up all night, and keep a fire burning through the Solstice.  (Looks like it's going to be Privet this year.)

Best Christmas movie ever?

The Ref (1994)

Note to mods:  You might consider renaming this thread “What’s Your Favorite Christmas Movie?” and relocate to Movies & TV subforum.

Unless we start talking about food as well?

Roast brussels, anybody?

God yes!  Having them with roast duck for the holiday.  Oyster stuffing too.

Is Sleepless in Seattle a holiday movie?  Sort of spans Thanksgiving to Valentine’s Day.

We are Watching White Christmas, another favorite.

I’ve always had a Rosemary Clooney fetish.  Hey Psi, how about a story about Rosemary molesting her nephew George?

Good point.  That's pretty much the whole Holiday season, except Halloween, which is a bit of a misfit, anyway.

Does that make Deadpool a Holiday movie?  He called it a "Love story" himself, but he is a bit of an unreliable narrator.
