It is so very odd.  So delusional and deranged. I'm just hoping he doesn't attack Iran on a pretense in order to declare martial law and overturn the election. And I hope all is peaceful on Wednesday.

No he has not.  He has said there will be a peaceful transition, but he still claims that he won the election.

There was a concession of sorts, aides words read off a teleprompter with all his usual lack of sincerity, followed ad lib by his usual scandalous sincerity insisting again he won.  Aides told him he would be removed if he didn’t condemn the storming of the Capital and also concede.

He lied to his supporters, incited them to insurrection and then condemned them for following his orders.  Or as several described it, ‘threw them under the bus.’  It sounds like in at least a few it’s beginning to dawn on them their hero might be a fraud.

There is serious talk by him to his confidants that he will pardon himself, something that has yet to be done by a president. Legal scholars are not sure if he could pardon himself. The pardon would be only for Federal offenses not state offenses. He is worried the Democrats will seek revenge on him. Sounds paranoid to me. Or a guilty conscience.

Obituary for Trump's Twitter Account
Our local Minneapolis paper has printed AP's obituary for the death of Trump's Twitter account. It's official...he's banned. It's written in the style of the death of a well known person and indeed, it did seem to take on a life of it's own.

Teddy Roosevelt called the office of the President a bully pulpit. Our outgoing failed fool of a president made messages limited to 140 characters his pulpit. That seems to be a perfect format for his dimwitted followers. No doubt many of them can't comprehend anything longer.

Nothing new in the "obit", but it's humorous, tho' about a deadly clown who ended up leading this country. Yeah...he's led us right to the brink.

Our National Guard has been called up... again. There's credible threats against our state capitol according to the FBI. The building has been fenced off since the George Floyd riots.

A small demonstration for ex president trump was held last week. It's now thought that there were activists among them scouting the area for an attack.
