I've been living in a bathroom for the past three days.

I will say that when you two are not here, things come grinding to a halt.

My foot still isn't right.  We walked the dunes earlier in the week and the sand sept into my Keen sandals.  It felt wonderful.  The sand acted as support as it smashed in all crevices.  Next morning I felt the best it has been since it happened in early August. So, we did a 12 mile hike in the woods.  F me if the next morning I felt like I had just sprained it.  Still feels like big toe sprained.  Have to take it slow and easy. But you know I like it fast and hard*.
I've never had an injury go this long.  8 weeks I think. This getting old sh*t is not for me I guess. 

Internet signal still sh*t, but I've got enough that I'm not wanting to throw the iPad across the RV.

So I make it a point to hold on to handrails.

When I leave my apartment, there are two concrete steps with no handrails, and that is where I fell, in fact it seems that's where I always fall. Either going down or truping going up.

I've never had an injury go this long.  8 weeks I think. This getting old sh*t is not for me I guess. 

Holy crap that is a long time, but as sprains go shouldnt really be surprised. Especially on feet and ankles that are used all the time. Unless you're constantly wrapping it up to keep it more stable it's going to take longer, and then as you said, age does have a say in healing as well.

Cane, crutches, walkers, and every do limping and wobbling... what a sight we all would make.
