The Chiefs vs. Bills nearly became a hockey game with all the frustrated fists flying.

Been a partial Chiefs fan since Len Dawson was their QB, so go Chiefs.  Halftime @ Super Bowl I:

I guess there's a big football game of some kind today. Yeah...not a fan.

I know it's a huge excuse to gather together with friends and family. Eat, drink and cheer your favorite.

Cheering for KC was no fun at all.  Their defense in particular had foul after foul throwing the game.

And the guy that charged the field was better at evading tackles and getting in the end zone than their offense.


I was hoping for some funny ads to break the somber mood in the country, but I can’t think of a single one that was funny, or for that matter memorable, except the somber ones.  I want to laugh again.

I liked the M&M commercials.

I also liked the DRAKE FROM STATEFARM, only for the surprise factor.  I don't think watching it any other time than yesterday would have been as enjoyable.  And Doritioes.  Liked that one too.  And Will Ferrell, though I had viewed it last week.

Just another observation, my Washington team gave Brady et al a far better game than the Chiefs did with a backup QB I never heard of.

I may have been a little distracted during the ads, was logging into work some breaks trying to correct something with a contractor in Asia (It was Monday AM for them).

I did get the Drake from State Farm joke, and Will Farrell is always funny.  Wait, this is Sweden not Norway?

KC should have suited up the streaker, breaking tackles and running to the end zone. A place KC had a hard time finding.

Interesting to see law enforcement get all jacked up over a non-event.  They would have beat the shit out of him, if they weren’t on national TV.
