Last night a group of friends and I went for a meal in a plush hotel. We'd booked in advance and even ordered our food in advance. All went well, the starters arrived and were very tasty.
Then the main meals arrived except the hotel had f*cked up three orders and had the audacity to tell us they were serving what we'd ordered. A copy email of the order proved them wrong. For three of us there was a delay whilst the correct meals were prepared. An apology was made but no offer of any recompense... but the bill arrived and there was a healthy deduction from the overall cost.
It still spoiled what was supposed to be a good evening out...
