How irrational!

I have to point out that it's 1-23.  Does something turn into a pumpkin at 12:34?

Everyone likes to try a different look once in a while.  No, this isn't a shot from Liz's hayloft.

True story from my past.  Way back in the early 70s there was a wig craze.  A lot of synthetic wigs on the market cheap.  My first wife, who had short red hair, got a long, down her back, brown wig.

We went out dancing, (told you this was a long time ago) had a good time and went home.  The next day at work, a co-worker of hers came up to her to report she'd seen me out with another woman.  :o

Wife chuckled and said, "No that was me, I bought a wig."  Co-worker patted her shoulder and said,"Poor dear, your so brave." :D

    National Irish Coffee Day

Oh, now that sounds good on a cold Michigan day.  I'll celebrate by having one tonight.
I prefer brown sugar over regular sugar.   Yum, can't wait.  I'll be thinking about it all day.

Here's the recipe I use, except all brown sugar

Blueberry's are not even in season.  How can this be?

Bubble wrap.  UGH.  One of the guys in the office has a bubble wrap fetish.  Anytime he gets his hands on some he sits there and pops each one until they are all gone.  All people opening deliveries have been instructed to take bubblewrap to the outside trash immediately before he can get his hands on it.   It's worse than people that snap their gum all day long.

Kazoo's ... the WORST musical instrument ever invented.

Canned, or frozen blueberries.  Basically make no difference for baking, compared with fresh ones.  One of the great thing about Blueberries is how well they keep compared with say Strawberries.  Much less raspberries, and blackberries.

Tuesday January 29

    National Puzzle Day
    National Corn Chip Day
Plan for Vacation Day (Last Tuesday in January)

Plan for Vacation Day is every day of my life. Not that I actually get to take one very often. The last was in 2011. Or maybe it was 2012, who remembers.

Remmy (corn chip lover)

PS: Puzzle Day? That's... puzzling (sorry!). Jigsaw puzzle, crossword puzzle, brain teaser puzzle, all of the above?

Me too.

Flights from Detroit to Iceland are $99 each way.
I so want to see the Northern Lights.  #bucketlist
I'm not sure we're going to be able to.
Spring break for my niece and Mark's daughter we're going to Florida for 9 days though.

Northern Lights are very fickle things below the Artic Circle.
The best place to see them (unfortunately) is in the air cross the Atlantic at 40,000 feet, (yes, been there done that)...otherwise, get above the Artic Circle ------FINLAND for best viewing. Check with FINAIR for prices to Finland, oh and one other thing.....Finland is very expensive..!!!
Good Luck.

Love,
Liz
