Daughter and Son-In-Law have been in town the last week from Upstate New York.  Got with 'em several times and had nice visits and had fun with the dog and cat they bring with.  They said they were leaving tomorrow (Wed.) and we were going out this afternoon to say goodby.

I called after getting back from the dog park to see when would be a good time to come out.  Didn't get an answer, but a few minutes later she called back.  They decided to head back today to get ahead of a storm that was predicted.  They were nearly to Chicago when I heard from her.  Guess I'll see them in October.

Just an overall yucky day.   Finished it off with a row and a half of Oreos and some ice cream.   Just finished making myself sick.     Haven't done that in 20 years.    A new day is 56 minutes away though. :)

The worst.   I had my own place about 18 months ago.   We'd lose power once a month, a couple of times a month in the winter.

What ruined my day....McDonalds has an App that awards you 6 free chicken McNuggets if the Detroit Tigers score 6 runs the previous day.  EVERYBODY at work is gaga that they're getting free nuggets.   But they don't JUST get nuggets, they order a fry and a softdrink.   I try not to be the fitness kook at work but this is driving me crazy watching everybody eat so terribly 2-3 times a week.   ick

Thank you both. My poor doggy has arthritis. Got some meds so hopefully that helps. He seems to be feeling better.
