Wine tonight + Bourbon tomorrow = A really good workout both Saturday and Sunday.

Yes, boyfriend has got me drinking his wine now.   Funny, my favorite is Menage a Trois, but too sweet to drink too much of it.

Thank you, Katie.   I'll look into it.   

So, like I said the Menage is too sweet.    I don't know the terminology for wine yet.   Do I want something 'drier'?     I like it, I just can't have more than two glasses.   
We had a Chianti last night.  It was very good, though a bit tart at the very first taste but it went away after that.   We had almost two bottles while playing cards and then back in the room during the massage.


And a big F**K YOU to the Michigan Law that allows smoking in the casinos.   It's banned in every other public place in the state, but not the casinos.    My head is stuffed up this morning because of it.   I don't understand it.   And if the casinos are going to allow it,  get a ventilation system that makes a difference.

Ménage a Trois is not a wine type, but rather a winery that specializes in blended wines (three types of grapes mixed up in a ménage).  They lean heavily on Zinfandel, which is a very sweet wine*.

I like Pinots, Malbecs, and Shirazs.  All considered "Medium" on the sweetness scale.




*This chart also has Zinfandel as a "medium" sweetness, but it is traditionally a dessert type wine, and favored by "the ladies" for its sweetness.
