Well, it may not be very "sexy" looking--in fact it looks pretty mechanical in some ways--but I have to say my Eroscillator is the best I've ever had. I've bought so many toys over the years, and some were fine. Others not so fine.

The worst vibe I ever had was purple, kind of soft/cyberskin, and was shaped like an 8 inch "C". It did NOT fit any part of my parts at all. Very frustrating. I threw it away. So this is the first time I've ever tried to go about buying a vibrator.  I'm gonna get one for my wife as I have to be gone for an extended business trip.  We'll be apart for about 6 weeks.  I figure she'd appreciate something to "take my place" while I'm gone ;)

  A 'personal vibrator' is a personal choice. If she has not had toys, my advice is to stay away from 'realistic looking' and 'too big' insert sizes, as a start.  My best toy is a ancient wand, with adjustable speeds and a head on it that is about 3 1/2" across, maybe 2" deep.  Can use it over her fingers or hand, and get used to the feeling, and the good part is one can get a Hitachi Wand at nearly any good pharmacy, sold as a muscle relaxing vibe, maybe with accessories or not. Personally I think buying sextoys is a lot like buying lingerie. SHE has to be comfortable in it, or in this case around it.  ;D "Always better to shop together." You could also encourage her to go on the internet and shop for herself if she`s open to the idea.

As for the toy itself. Some women like vibrators, others like dildos. Some like neutral simple toys, others want fluorescent singing leprechauns... I am not a frequent toy user, and larger toys tend to turn me off. I get by very well with small button vibrators- I have two or three of them, and they definitely provide enough stimulation without crossing over to the too-intense zone. Might be something to consider if she is new to the idea :).
