I dont think I'm going to be getting much sleep tonight.

I fell asleep early, then woke a little after 3AM.  Gonna sit up an hour or so and try again before work.

I cant yet comfortable and my legs are starting to ache.  Put a heavy migraine on top of it, and I'm still up two and a half hours later.  Staring at screens isn't helping much either.

I had to pop 3 ibuprofen, they seem to be kicking in a little.

It could have been that leftover chocolate silk pie washed down with three fingers of bourbon and a whole bottle of Bordeaux.

Woken up by an erotic dream at 3:33am.  Tried but couldn't get back to sleep.  2 hours later and here I am.

Guess I'll go for a walk, or is 38 degrees too chilly for a walk.  Guess I'll find out.  ttfn  :-*

Wouldn't 5:30 am be too dark for a walk?  :o

Yes it's dark, but your eyes adjust and can see well enough.  Just outdoor lights that people have on (porch lights/lights on the side of a garage) gives enough light to see.   I'm only a little afraid of monsters jumping from the bushes.  Complete darkness I do not do.
Back in my mid 30's I would get up and run at 5am in the morning.

I'm in my 30's and I run at 5am.  Have quit a lot of streetlights too.  The facts I live a few blocks from the police station helps keep the monsters at bay

I was up until a little at 5am watching Ozark before I fell asleep.  My migraine woke me up around 8:45.  Took two 600mg ibuprofen I get from the VA and now I'm hoping for a little more sleep

So, I've kind of been checking this place out to see what kind of traffic and following there is.  At first it looked fairly active, but they more I look, the more it seems like just a small handful of posters.

It’s a small town, but wakeful.

It barely takes any alcohol for me to get a headache and become very sleepy. Then I wake up at 3 am feeling wired. Sadly red wine and bourbon are at the top of the list, so these days I just stay away from booze altogether :(

Coming to the club meeting.

Woke up at 1:30 AM and finally giving up on falling asleep again at 3:00 AM.

Was really tired when I went to bed at 9:30. As usual was asleep in a few minutes. When I woke just didn't feel tired anymore. Know I'll pay for this later tho'.

Sounds like my nights recently.  I mentioned to our oldest about the constant 3am wakeup.  She sent me this...

"The Devil’s Hour: This Is Why You Might Feel Spooked Out At 3am

If you’ve ever woken up at around three in the morning and felt like something wasn’t quite right, then you may actually be onto something.
It’s not just a case of middle-of-the-night jitters but you are slap bang in the middle of the Devil’s Hour - and, if you believe the myths, you may not be alone.
The 3am time slot is regarded by paranormal experts as a time when pure evil - either demons or entities from the spirit world - make their presence felt.
Many of us will wake up in the middle of the night, either from a bad dream or without any reason at all, feeling a chill in the air or a worrying feeling in your gut.
We might simply put this down to our brains not quite being in state that is able to think rationally - but there are also those who believe the reason is a lot more sinister.
The thinking behind the specific time of 3am is that it is a deliberate mocking of the death of Jesus Christ, who, according to ancient writing, died in the middle of the afternoon - at 3pm."

I'll go with the latter.

If that is the case, I have spent many a night awake during the Devil's hour. Not with the Devil. Just reading a book in hopes of falling back asleep. Though some devilish thoughts did come to mind...  8)

I want some Deviled eggs, or Devil some eggs.  Random thoughts during the witching hours.

How ironic, just heard this song a short while ago

My wife is night manager at a local hotel that always puts out boiled eggs on the breakfast buffet line.  She can eat a half dozen boiled eggs, PLAIN.  Sounds awful to be.  But mix those yolks with some paprika and mayo?  We've got a meal.

I have found zopiclone 7.5 mg to be very helpful. It has no side effects and has a subtle sneaky way about it I like. Takes about 45 minutes to work. Failing that I recommend a cart load of alcohol.
