First shipment of Covid-19 vaccine arrived in Minneapolis this morning. It landed at the VA Medical Center...my health care facility.

I expect health care workers will be receiving this first batch. They've taken such good care of me for these last several years. I so glad these fantastic care givers will be protected.

I already sent the solution to Obi to show him I did it around noon yesterday.

I time myself when I do them.  I discovered I made an error after 8 minutes in my first attempt.   So, I started over and finished it in 21 minutes on my second attempt.

But then last night, I did a 2 star rated puzzle last night and it took me 25 minutes.  

Sometimes I breeze through them.  Other times I struggle.  

Love me some Suduko.

Had to have some blood drawn yesterday, checking on my A1C levels for my diabetes. First person I saw had a sign in her bay that read: "Your vampire today is disguised as a phlebotomist." Got a good chuckle from that.

However, her printer didn't work, so couldn't print the labels for my samples. She shuffled me across the aisle to another bay and a different phlebotomist. This one had the following on her white board.

They have a hard time finding a vein on me sometimes.  Once a few years ago the girl was apologizing for about to try for the 4th time.  I had been joking with her, well, because she was young and cute, and she was laughing at my comments.  But then as she apologized again about all the needle pokes in both my arms, I said, ‘Don’t worry, this isn’t the most invasive thing today.  Across the hall they just did a prostate exam.’

That’s when the girl lost it.  She was laughing so hard she had to get another nurse to draw my blood.

I give blood regularly.   I've had some nurses have difficulty in finding my vein.  I get queasy at poke 3.

My girlfriends are coming back to visit again this weekend.  Going to be different now that its colder and we have a little snow on the ground.  We may have to resort to hanging out inside, so I've been spending majority of the last two days cleaning my apartment.

No matter what we decide to do, it's going to be a blast.

Spent two days getting my apartment clean only to find out they want me to meet them at the hotel they're staying at.  It has an outside bar with these little igloos around individual tables.  Really neat looking actually.  Well be having lunch there, and most likely some drinks.

Might just hang out there for a few hours.

Had yet another fantastic day.  Spent maybe a little too much, but I regret nothing from today.  Alicia had to go visit some relatives, but Shannon has nothing going on the rest of the night.  She's changing and then stopping by my place before we both head over to my dad's to watch the Packer game.  She is a hesitant.  Just because we have a vaccine now, doesnt mean she can get careless.  They both have satchels filled with cleaning supplies.  They have more clorox wipes then I've seen since January.
