Smooth or Crunchy? Thats is the question! Personaly I prefer smooth on toast, but only on toast but if I am making sandwiches it has to be crunchy.
-
I've always prefered cruncy, wife wans smooth. The last year we both were not eating that much PB anymore. Sooooo....in order not to have two jars going stale at the same time, we've gone to one kind for the both of us. Guess who got what? Oh well, my teeth aren't getting any younger either.
-
Crunchy for me, I do like my nuts with some bite ;D
-
Great question....I buy smooth for my sandwiches, but if I am making peanut butter cookies I use crunchy.
-
Crunchy always trumps smooth.
I also only eat natural peanut butter. I hate the skippy/jiffy sugary crap. The ingredients should only say "peanuts", otherwise it tastes like shit.
-
smooth
-
Crunchy peanut butter for sure. ;D
-
I like creamy with added nuts.
:emot_thdrool: I have to try all of these little emotions... so be prepared..

Smooth.

Both.
I lived on PB pre-marriage. Michelle put a stop to it.
I would dip Oreo cookies into Crunchy, not just a little, but a big glob of PB.
I would smear a glob of smooth onto Marshmallows.
Was never without either type.
That was during my physically active 20's. I'd weigh 400 lbs if I ate now, like I did then.
-
Smooth, on a toasted English muffin.
-
I eat lots of peanut butter....love me a tall glass of ice cold milk and a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, on that white bread that sticks to roof of your mouth...and only smooth.
-
I've stopped eating either type of peanut butter after I ended up putting on a few pounds. That said, I love peanut butter on toast and in sandwiches or straight out of the jar via the end of my finger!

I'm a purist.
My peanuts are never mushed into an oily paste.

Then, do you like them salted or unsalted? 8)
-
Spanish peanuts and the like, I like roasted and salted. Almonds I prefer raw and unsalted.
Cashews roasted and salted.

Way back in the olden days, I got two #10 cans (that's number not hash tag) of Planters Crunchy peanut butter and One #10 can of Grape Jelly, for Xmas. I was young, dumb and full of....
Best care package received was A jar of PB, jar of Best foods Mayo, six pack of Coors.
The late 60's early 70's, over there ,was a weird time and place.
-
I've always preferred smooth. Strangely, some brands of peanut butter give me heartburn, but crunchy peanut butter NEVER gives me heartburn...

First, we need to correct a couple of common mistakes:
The fruit-and-sugar based sandwich filling is called "jam". "Jelly" is the gelatine-based desert served at children's parties, with ice cream.
"English muffins" are only made and eaten in the US or branches of McDonalds. True Brits eat crumpet.
Now, to the OP;
Crunchy, every time. Preferably "whole" (skins and all), and absolutely, without compromise, free from palm oil. This isn't flavour or snobbery - almost all the palm oil on the planet comes from monoculture plantations growing on land that was formerly rain forest, usually on Madagascar.

Obviously, idleboast, you aren't speaking 'Merican.

I likes mine smooooooooooooth and silky. Either side of the pond and down the river too.
-
Idleboast, for some reason her in America they sell jam AND jelly, as well as preserves. :P I've had jam, I don't know why but I don't like it. Jelly I like. Grape jelly only.

I could tell 'cause you don't have a 'Mericun accent.
