First major snow storm since October.
Snow is falling...er... make that coming at us sideways. Strong winds making for a nasty day. Traffic will be a nightmare. I feel for last minute shoppers.

COLD, COLD, COLD
dark side of the moon cold.
I swear I even heard the snowflakes complain about the cold, cold.
Jack frost went inside to warm up cold.
CJ is finally happy cold.
Dont get out of bed cold... and now I segue into a subtle "who got laid last night" story. (Yes, again 8) )

Woke up this morning snuggled in and toasty warm, it was perfect under those blankets, and then he got up to leave for work.  When he climbed out of bed he took most of that warmth with him.  And since I was at his place, I had to get up too.  Was an excellent night with a great wakeup followed by a miserably cold morning. And since yesterday was a bit warmer, I didnt not have the proper coverings to deal with that kind of cold,, my jacket was way to thin, and that breeze cut through it like butter.

Love my heated seats though

Same here. Was 12 degrees, not including the wind chill, when we walked this morning.

It's one below zero at 10:40, with bright sun that ain't doing s**t for warmth.

Cold...you wanna talk about cold? When I lived in northern Minnesota, pre global warming, 30 & 40 below temps were common. I'd walk 4 blocks to work. What was amazing was with clear skies, white flakes were floating in the air. It was the humidity freezing.

It's supposed to be in the high 70's in the Florida Keys

Right now it's 57*, with a high of 62*.

Good thing we had plans other than being on the water.

We just broke 20° here.

A question was imposed to me, what would I rather have, cold?  Or lots of snow?

I would choose snow.  80° and I wouldnt care about having to deal with a couple feet of snow.  I can have fun in the snow, it is the bitter cold that ruins it.

Could be worse. In Orlando it was 45-degrees at 7:30pm Saturday when the football game started. It was actually warmer on my patio 3000 miles away from there.

The high was 72F today, quite nice.  But rain is coning ant it will be in the low 50's by Tuesday.

I hear Florida got quite a chill and folks are collecting cold-stunned iguanas and eating them.

Got 4 inches of snow last night.  Cold this morning, and since the plows came through and turned the roads into ice rinks, I spent most of my morning jog sliding around.  Like ice skating.

We're due for possibly another 6 inches between Tuesday and Thursday

It is snowing good now. Calling for 2 - 4 inches. Then during the night, temps will rise and we will first get ice, then all rain by morning. These are good snows - last a few hours then melt.

Everybody was out early using snowblowers, and clearing out their driveways.  My landlord was actually plowing our parking lot this morning.  He usually has a local landscaping company do it, but not this morning.  He is not that good at it, so now I've got to clear snow away from my garage door if I want to go anywhere....

Think I'm staying in until it melts.

Our predicted 5 inches was a little short. No... I'm not complaining! A tad over two inches.

Neighbor already did my front walk. I'll do the little bit on the back walk. Fire up snowblower for driveway.

As usual, “snowmaggedon” was an exaggeration.  It’s fairly mild, cloudy, light rain.  Very dreary way to end the year.  We might get down to 30° overnight, but the ground is still warm, so unlikely there will be any accumulation.

I've refrained from posting here the last couple weeks 'cause I didn't want to jinx the nice weather we've been having. OK, nice for Minnesota in January. temps in the 20s, 30s and even a couple days where it reached 40!

Normally in January we'd be talking about below zero temps. Getting a few inches of snow today is about as "exciting" as the weather news is.  :D
