Even though all I'm he as ring is 60s 60s 60s, it's still winter and I'm reminded of it every morning when I go outside and its below freezing still.

Was really enjoying the warm up ambut nownit looks like we've got snow in the near future.  Its beyond the three day limit, but it's still there and it's making me angry.  Stupid snow

77° and cloudy.  50% chance of rain tomorrow, but I really don’t care, because the freeze blasted all living things.  I put the hummingbird feeders up yesterday, because there are virtually *no* wildflowers blooming at the moment, which is somewhat disconcerting.

I'm just the opposite.  I love the darkness in the morning. After getting up at 4:30 for the past 20 years, it's my quiet time.  I no longer get up that early, but I still get up about 6am and just enjoy it being dark and I can slowly wake up as the world outside my window comes to life.

AND I LOVE that the sun will be setting at 7:40PM instead of 6:40PM now.

Cold.  Seems a lot colder than it should, but its always like this after that trasing warmth.  Supposed to get a wintery mix coming through this afternoon.  Hopefully it's the Last snowfall until November.

I'm kind of the same way.  Waking up before the sun rises makes it feel like I've got a jump on the day.  No wasted time this morning, but then I sit around drinking coffee doing nothing productive, unless I go to work.  :emot_laughing:

May get a bit of a FU from winter today. The tail end of the big storm that hit Colorado and Nebraska hard is moving into Minnesota. Southwest part of state will be hit hardest. Here in the metro area, we could see one to three inches of wet snow.

It'll melt fast, as temps back to 50s by Thursday.

After temps in the 60s and 70s last week, it was 25 this morning.  Last week I had trouble getting my dog to come inside.  She knew it was nice and was not at all listening to me about coming in.  Being out would be fine, except she’s always on patrol barking at anything and everything.  She thinks it’s her job.

Same here. It was close to 70 on Saturday afternoon, and when I woke up at 6:00 this morning, it was 24.

Snow everywhere. Normally I'd complain about it snowing after it all melted. But I'm still getting my feel good vibes. So I don't mind the snow, and because itll be gone in less than two days.

In the past hour I have experienced all possible cold weather.  Started with Graupel, then snow, snow flakes were friggin huge, then some freezing rain and hail, and finally rain.  None of which were in my local weather prediction.

Graupel??  Was going to ask what it is but don't want to give the satisfaction to the one or two perfect members that will tell me to look it up. Enjoy your graupel S.

aside - it sounds like one of those Slavic desserts in West, Texas

I actually learned that here in the what I learned today thread.  Think it was MJ who posted it.

March is when the weather here in Tucson is really nice and folks start planting gardens.  The race is on because by mid-June everything will be dead from the heat.  We might still have a hard-freeze at night, so I keep a balnket ready to cover my tomato plants.  I actually planted them in September and have been covering them on cold nights to get a head start on production.

Blue sky with white fluffy clouds like The Simpsons
and deliciously warm in the sun.
makes everything feel a little better

It was sunny, temp was up to 63 and the neighbors across the street were all put doing yard work.  An absolute beauty of a day...

I'm on the couch, wet cloth on my forehead and hugging a bucket... well fuck me  :(

Yesterday it was 48, but it felt a lot warmer.  Today, its 50 so far, but it feels cold.  Most likely because of the rain last night.
