Predicated for tomorrow in Minneapolis...two to three inches of snow. Yes, we've had October snow before, even a blizzard one Halloween. Over a foot of snow that shut down the entire state.

After so many years up north, I should be used to this. Guess what...it still sucks. >:(

Hey dare now dis aboot sums it up for Mini-soda

Dark and miserable. I complained about the sun, now I'm complaining about there being no sun. I hate sun in the Summer, not when it's chilly and windy out.

All your complaining about the sun and heat the last few months have finally caught up to you.  Just wish you didn't drag the rest of us along with you through this frozen hell of yours

The Sunshine State? Probably wishful thinking from those snow birds who head to Florida and Arizona in the winter. 8)

Snow showers predicted further west of the city. CJ's wishes coming true. ;D

Finally cooling off in Tucson (again).  We are looking at a week in the 90's and 80's, with lows in the 60's.

Soon I'll be able to go outside and garden again!

Nice Lois!  Our gardeners need a snow shovel to find their gardens. Six to eight inches of wet heavy S**w fell yesterday. Yeah, my hose is out there somewhere too. Maybe I'll find it in the spring. The storm broke the previous record for Oct. 20th, when 3 inches fell in 1916.

Other casualties of the storm:

State Patrol reporting some 48 injuries, 493 crashes, 614 vehicles off the road, and 22 jackknifed semitrailer trucks between 11 a.m. and 8:30 p.m. In one case, a truck was blocking both westbound lanes of Interstate 94 near Alexandria.

The snowmen created today will all be festooned with newly fallen leaves.

I'd almost talked myself into shoveling the walks. Neighbor did front walk for me, so just have from front door out to street, then back walk out to garage.

Temp now up to 34 degrees and sun is out. Guess I'll wait awhile and see how much melts.

The exact reason Mrs W never shovels or sweeps the snow.  ;D

From late last night and all through the night we had nonstop thunder storms. Sounded like a war zone. Everyone's grass is nice and green again. It sure beats snow.  ;D

Cold and drizzle out again, makes mankind of glad I wasnt able to go for a jog this morning.  Also we've got the yard waste pickup crews pushing piles of leaves and branches everywhere.

Weather's stayed cold and wet since our early snow a few days ago. Lawns covered by newly fallen leaves now have a layer of snow on top. More snow is forcast for tomorrow.

Going to be some ruined lawns if homeowners aren't able to rake leaves this fall.

FALL!  F**k... we're in winter with highs only in 30s. We've had many years with no spring...go from winter to summer. Now we've lost our fall, going from summer to winter.

It was 36 here this morning when we went for our walk but not a cloud in the sky. Nice to see the sun after a bunch of cloudy and rainy days.

Just keep the white stuff up your way.... ;D ;D

Aged cheddar? curds? Farmers? Cottage? Or simple low moisture string?  I've got them all in my fridge.

Ah... string. Since my main cheese factory burned last summer, I haven't had good string cheese for a couple months. They got most the factory back running quickly, but apparently where they make the string cheese still wasn't back in operation last time I was there.

49° this morning!  Threw an extra blanket on the bed, but the house is still warm enough I didn’t need to fire up the furnace.

Instead of stopping at one of the many cheese stores along 94 I now know where to stop for some cheese and...   Wine.   8)
