Title: Mutual Respect
Post by: Well Behaved Lady on June 22, 2017, 01:57:18 PM
I watch and observe his naked form
The door ajar inviting me in
His touch one of familiarity
I remain hidden respecting the view

Partially disrobed
I ponder my own form
My desire him
My touch equal to his

A deathly silence broken by a murmur, discovered
The gap of light now cast upon me
We sit and watch feet away
A mutual admiration within our reach

We watch and observe
Eyes full of lust
A need to reach out and touch
A difficult restraint

Our need for fulfillment matched
Our desire for each other unequal
Our thoughts in sync
Our release together

Me, too!

I love this line:

A need to reach out and touch
A difficult restraint

Wubble, these are more than just scribblings, you are a genuine poet.

Holding back is the worst feeling, in so many situations. Thanks for the comment and taking the time to read my words once again.

I need to catch my breath

Well I never took you for someone who might read poetry, thanks for taking the time to comment.

IB you flatter me, it's amazing what can happen when reality and fantasy cross and for some reason the words I write seem to relay it well.
I publish all my poetry on a poetry website, so lovers of poetry get to see my words elsewhere and I seem to be getting it right there too.

Thought provoking words... the imagery is vivid... fantastic... woo Wubble...

Thanks Vinney, once again I appreciate the time you take to comment and read my words

Sigh…

You made me wish my girl was with me.

She's in your heart, hold onto that x

I've never been into poetry, but that one had an impact. I've always liked the ability to convey a whole story or image with very few words and you did that here. Thank you for writing it.
