Title: He's Taking It With Him - Buried in a School Bus
Post by: msslave on February 19, 2020, 01:47:46 PM
A retired school bus driver has past away.  He'd spent 55 years driving a school bus for a small Minnesota community. At the end he was transporting grandkids of the first kids who rode his bus.  He'd stated he'd like to be buried in a casket that looked like a school bus.

Six years ago the local owner of the funeral home along with some other friends created his wish and presented him with the casket six years before his death.

The driver, Glen Davis died February 15th, at 88 years of age.
Here's a link to the story if you want to know a bit more.

I once heard of a funeral procession where the hearse had a U-Haul trailer in tow with a sigh that said, "I'm taking it with me." Anyone else have interesting funeral stories to share?

I wonder if the funeral procession will have to stop at every rail crossing, open their doors, look both ways, close their doors and then proceed on.  ;D
