I didn't get it, but I assume this is a University of Texas vs. Texas A&M thing.

Kind of like the MIT vs. Harvard thing.

To show where my mind went, the first thing I saw was "ATM." I couldn't remember exactly what that referred to, but -- thanks to the outstanding education I've received here on KB -- I know it's an abbreviation for "Ass to Mouth."

I dont get it either. I thought an Aggie had something to do with agriculture, and then I thought, "I know a lot of famers, and they would be smarter than that."

Aggie Jokes are kind of like Polish jokes. They state or imply the stupidity of the subject.

A&M is the school where all the farmers and small town kids went. The city kids all went to UT.

Even to this day, A&M is considerably more rural, less urbane and sophisticated, AND PROUD OF IT. So that’s what that is all about.

UT has the LBJ Presidential Library.

A&M has the George H. W. Bush Library.
