After watching a 3-1/2 hour movie at the theatre, I needed a drink.  ETL, going topshelf to help make up for the rough past few hours.

Re-discovered Sambuca while on holiday in Spain last week.  They didn't serve it alight with the coffeee beans though   :(

I went to buy my usual EW black, but they had EW 1786 on sale for less. It’s supposedly premium, and it has a slightly higher ABV. So enjoying that and watching San Antonio get off to a slow start against the Knicks.

Dan is feeling better.  He even wanted some wine.  So off to the basement he went.  Then he yelled up the stairs, asking what I wanted to take to the cottage.  And then I thought of a PM from Staci asking my thoughts on Elijah Craig.  So I yelled downstairs asking Dan to find the bottles, lol, he couldn't understand the words Elijah Craig (not everyday words) so I had to go downstairs and show him it typed out.  I thought I had one full proof and one of the regular shelf 94 proof.  I was wrong.  I had two bottles of full proof.  One at 122.2 proof, the other at 131.4.  I will take one of those to the cottage.  Along with Belle Meade Bourbon which I only got a little sample of compliments of the gentleman at Piccolos.

And right now I am enjoying 1792.

Glad you're going to the cabin well stocked for beverages. Also good to hear Dan is doing better.

Just going to comment that I hope Dan is feeling healthy enough to enjoy it, but maybe getting out in nature might help him finally kick this thing.

The z-pack seems to have really helped.  Not enough to celebrate the Lions victory last night, but.

I'm paying the oldest a small fortune to care for the little one for the next week.  Then Tuesday all three kids are coming up.  7 days of just Dan and I.  I'm grabbing a handful of Viagra on the way out the door. 

Keeping with the subject.  Still sipping that 1792.  About pour #3 right now.  Watching Christmas Cookie Challenge on tv.

Local spice rum. I don't normally drink rum, but I thought it would be a nice change. Now I'm buzzing hard and thinking I'm going to abuse my shower buddy for the second time today.

Never realized how much I enjoy rum and coke.
Not white rum, that's nasty crap, but spiced rum is quite yummy especially with orange or pineapple juice.

I am quite f*ckered up right now.

I went out to dinner last night with my Mini-Me. We were drinking Blood Orange Manhattans. So good. So strong. I then chased those this a St. Arnold’s IPA that was about 9% APV. I got quite f*ckered up also. Took Uber. Thank goodness.
