I have discovered how enjoyable a cup of coffee is with Bailey's in it.  For past few weeks, after dinner, we have been sitting on the deck with a cup.  Makes for a pleasant evening.

My ex used to drink something called a "Nutty Irishman", Baileys & Frangelico with a splash of cream.  Too sweet for me, but she could knock those down.

Fast forward, I came home early the other day, and my son had left my bottle of Bailey's on the table.  Considering how many of those his mom had when she was pregnant (over my objections), I'm surprised he wasn't born with a Nutty Irishman in his fist.

We had to have a long talk about that one.  He said "I just had a taste."  Isn't this how it always starts?  :(

Not always, but you are right to be concerned. Just share your concerns as honestly as you can, and hope for the best. You are a good man, your son will likely trust you sooner or later.

Indeed!
That has been my Nov-Apr after dinner drink for many years.
May-Oct it varies...  Cap'n and Vernors one of my favorites.  Different Vodka & Gin drinks, which I have a few to sample from earlier in the thread.

Been my wifes Halloween go to drink for years. A liitle warmth while walking around with the family. We also always have a bottle of it around the house just in case she wants a drink

Tequila for me preferably Anejo.

KAH is very smooth.

Dos Lunas also very smooth.

Maestro Dobel not a straight anejo(Made from a blend of Extra Aged Anejo, Blanco and Reposado) but still very smooth. This is the one I use for mixes including doing bomber shots with Full Throttle Blue Agave energy drink.

Always loved tequila. Tasted fine to me going down or coming up, and so many of my friends were scared of it, there was usually enough to go around so I could get thoroughly trashed.

Most I ever drank was a fifth and four shots of the supermarket brand garbage. Good times that night, terrible morning. Ah, memories...

I like to take two ice cubes...2 ounces patron and a slice of lime...sip it.  Have tried all the different patrons and silver is the one I prefer.

Don Julio straight up, nice sipping tequila

Tequila, yuck.

I did shots one night. Ever since then, I don't touch any drink with tequila.

I did the same thing when I was in college. It took me YEARS to get over it. Now I love a nice Margarita!

I'd rather have a Rum or vodka Collins.

Smart girl. There's a reason this thread has the word 'poison' in it. Some alcohol is not much of a problem, but a couple drinks later...
