This all began when I asked members to tone down their large flashing images. After a PM I had concerns that some members and guests of this forum were experiencing problems with some of the signatures, which have grown bigger and more flashy over time. I assumed that members here would understand and would want to do whatever they could to make KB friendly to as many users as possible who might have issues with flashing images. Instead it seems that many of you have chosen to ignore or ridicule my request. It is obvious by the replies in this thread that quiet a few members were experiencing problems with these signatures, but still some of you think you know better.
I did look into limiting the size of sigs and hiding them, but was unable to upload the apps to this version of smf, the only option left was to reduce the number of characters allowed, this is set at 20 at the moment. I would have preferred to leave it the the members to reduce the size and flashing of their signatures, but alas it is disappointing that people are not as thoughtful as they may profess.

A few well constructed words are worth more than a whole page of clever pyrotechnics.
