Day nine of dry January, and I’ll be damned if I don’t feel really good. I got a great nights sleep. Of course I’ve been in the hospital for four days getting awakened every two hours for a vitals check and blood draws. But I’m feeling so damn good, I may just give up booze forever.

Since my latest bout with whatever has been ailing me, I haven't had a drop of wine since before the holidays. I really feel no different, though, but good to hear you are feeling better.

The main difference is sleeping. I fall asleep at a normal hour, and I sleep all night. I used to be up and down throughout the night. And I think it was some kind of rebound reflex from the booze. I wake up feeling more alert, and have more energy in the morning also. Just saying…

Good going Toe. Some of your earlier posts used to make me shudder a bit. Without knowing you in RL I didn't want to be too judgemental but I used to have some concerns.
