Back to the topic (even though I've already posted some today, I'd like things back on course).

"Anyone determined to find another person or group inferior can always find whole lists of grounds that demonstrate inferiority because we are all inferior to the ideals of humanness we have erected."
--Marilyn French

"Pretend inferiority and encourage his arrogance."
--Sun Tzu

"The greater the feeling of inferiority that has been experienced, the more powerful is the urge to conquest and the more violent the emotional agitation."
--Alfred Adler

"I like the English. They have the most rigid code of immorality in the world."
--Malcolm Bradbury

"We have really everything in common with America nowadays except, of course, language."
--Oscar Wilde

"The whole strength of England lies in the fact that the enormous majority of the English people are snobs."
--George Bernard Shaw

"The English are not happy unless they are miserable, the Irish are not at peace unless they are at war, and the Scots are not at home unless they are abroad."
--George Orwell

"The keynote of American civilization is a sort of warmhearted vulgarity. The Americans have none of the irony of the English, none of their cool poise, none of their manner. But they do have a friendliness. Where an Englishman would give you his card, an American would very likely give you his shirt."
--Raymond Chandler

"The British do not expect happiness. I had the impression, all the time that I lived there, that they do not want to be happy; they want to be right."
--Quentin Crisp

"You Englishmen, confronted by something abnormal, will always pretend that it isn't there. If he can't pretend that, he will look through the object, or round it, or above it or below it, or in any direction except into it. If, however, you force him to look into it, he will at once pretend that he sees the object not for what it is but for something that he would like it to be."
--James Agate

I know its your board, but could we at least stay somewhat on topic? We're just encouraging "hugo" posting at this rate.

I became a performer because it was what I enjoyed doing.
Richard Pryor

I believe in the institution of marriage, and I intend to keep trying till I get it right.
Richard Pryor

I think about being married again, having a home and a wife. No one can ever be married too many times, and maybe if I keep trying I'll get it right one day.
Richard Pryor

I was brought up in a whorehouse in Peoria. My mother and father lived there and worked there.
Richard Pryor

Marriage is really tough because you have to deal with feelings... and lawyers.
Richard Pryor

Sure, I have friends, plenty of friends, and they all come around wantin' to borrow money. I've always been generous with my friends and family, with money, but selfish with the important stuff like love.
Richard Pryor

Pam: "Did I miss something? Are we girls now? Did we join a book club and read some queer chick lit memoirs and are bound together by estrogen or sisterhood or some other feminist drivel?"

There's probably another 50 or more pages of this, shall I continue?
Lists of quotes are not clever, not funny, not original, the whole point of a quote is its context and meaning to an individual, lists of random quotes are a bit like shopping lists, how about starting a thread of those?

The goat joke is one of those jokes that is funny once, with each repetition it just shows lack of wit, boos for lack of creativity guys.
