Flurries in the air on my commute this morning.  And low 20s predicted tonight.

Not sure if I’ve already killed the ficus on the deck, but it’s coming in tonight.  I usually bring it in in October.  My Peruvian whined about that a week ago, but I’ve had that bush 20 years.  I don’t tell my Peruvian, but it belonged to my deceased wife before I met her.  I feel like I owe it to my first wife to keep it going.

Oh well, it really pops the nipples out, so it's not all bad, am I right?

Not really.

At the risk of presuming to speak for all women, nipple erections in a non-erotic situation are typically a "bad thing." It can be uncomfortable, and the friction of running and having them rubbed by your sports bra is the farthest thing from a turn-on. It is, to put it plainly, not the good kind of friction...

I suppose it depends on if you’re the one experiencing the discomfort or the one enjoying the view.  There’s a reason the ‘spotting the pokies’ thread exists.

I suppose you're right. Then again, most of those pictures are posed. And there's the simple fact that for many women, their nipples become erect unwillingly, and for reasons completely unrelated to erotic arousal. Like the cold, for example. Or the women for whom it just happens, and they don't even know. You know, the headlights turn on.

Either way, it's most often not fun for the woman. On top of the embarrassment factor, there's the chafing factor. It hurts. And not in a good way...

Jesus.  It was a joke.  Overthink it much?

Isn't that how I allegedly killed these forums last month?

It might surprise you to learn that I too have nipples, and have experienced everything you described.

Just FYI, that was also a joke.

Beautiful fall day. Blue skies, low humidity, temperature in the upper 60’s!

Ah, yes. I remember times when some other body part, not my nipples, would suddenly become erect for no apparent reason.  Most embarrassing when, in class, I was called upon to stand and give an answer. Most uncomfortable, both mentally and physically. ;D ;D

Snowing and blowing this morning with temps plunging. Weather here more like January then November.

Colder than a witch’s tit.

Colder than a tin toilet on the shady side of an iceberg.

Cold enough to freeze the balls off a brass monkey.

It’s so cold, I saw a politician with his hands in his own pockets!

I went for a run this morning around 6:15 and it was close to 60 degrees.

During the day today, the temperature is supposed to drop precipitously. It's supposed to be 36 at sunset, and get down into the low 20s overnight.

I love using the word "precipitously."

Windy too.  I woke up in the middle of the night to the gentle sounds* of a limb falling, and landing on the guard rail of the front porch.

Pecan trees, they shed a lot more than just leaves, and nuts in the fall.  Looks like I'm going to have to get the saw out, when it warms up...

*That was a joke.  Sarcasm, perhaps you've heard of it?

It is 27° here this morning with a nice layer of ice on everything.  So schools are starting two hours late (state head count occurs at 11:00 a.m. in Texas).  Meanwhile, I have a morning hearing in Fredericksburg and can’t get anyone on the phone.  Hope they are starting late also...

Woke up at 5:30 AM - CST. A glance at my phone showed a temp of 4 degrees F.

OMG... I over slept...how did I go to sleep in November and wake up in January????

Oh, BTW, Happy New Year to you all.

It was a balmy 10 this morning. But the sun is shining brightly.  8)  Maybe January and February will be warmer then normal.

50s?  Such an optimist. Hope you are right. That is supposed to be our normal temperatures right now.  8)
