Yeah, we do that during one day here in Texas.

Winter into summer?  Yeah, that was the other day here in Waco, (Okay, "Winter."  For our yankee friends.) and now it's spring again.  We might get a blizzard* in March just to fuck with us.

(* Okay Texas "Blizzard," which means the snow actually stick to the ground for 24 hours.  Or, a stop by Dairy Queen.)

Spring has sprung here in New York City. It was 50 when I woke up this morning, it's currently 58, and its supposed to get up to 65 by the afternoon.

Sadly, they're forecasting a high of only 44 for tomorrow...

Nothing.....
Channel 7 News/Weather forecast was for rain and thunderstorms today.
Got nothing...which was actually good.
Cloudy day, with nice sunshine............temperatures got up to 63 degrees.
I ended up bathing all the horses today, instead of turning them out (all because of a forecast that was completely wrong).
Oh Well.

Love,
Liz

Well...spring hasn't sprung, but there are a few creaks being made. (like old people still trying to screw on an old squeaky bed)

We had some highs in mid 40s with overnight lows staying above freezing.  Lost about a foot of the snow pack with another foot of snow left.  Lots of flooded streets as storm sewers are blocked with snow and ice.  Neighbors go out and unblock them as the city can't keep up.

Weather cooled yesterday and slowed down the melt.  Big worries about flooding and there has been some near the rivers.  If the temps don't take a big leap up the chance of major floods can be avoided...otherwise, head for the ark!

Some day I'll see my lawn again.  I did find a newspaper from mid February this morning that had emerged from a snowbank. Cheesy

Now Jules... it's not his fault you chose to live somewhere it doesn't get above freezing for days (weeks?) on end. Sounds like jealousy to me.

You can always plan a trip to Florida. Oh wait...  Kiss

Ah, Spring is in the air. Heard my first ear splitting leaf blower from a lawn service today, along with a multitude of lawn mowers cutting non-existent grass since it hasn't been above 50 degrees in which grass grows. Also heard motorcycles, music blasting from cars and, I am guilty of this, myriad snow throwers that their owners are draining gas from. Noisy, yes but I will take warm weather any time.

Rain!   Temp is 38, so close to being snow.  Snow would not have been good for my mental health.

82F @ 7PM in Dallas, and the doom and gloom predictions aren't doing much yet.  They're predicting severe thunderstorms around 11PM, but the storms generally start to blow out once the sun goes down, so I'd call it "less likely" for tonight.

Edit: It was somewhere in-between the two.  Around 1:30am a thunderstorm blew through, and ONE bolt of lightning hit within a hundred feet of me or so... I heard snapBOOOOMMM but it didn't knock the power out so I went back to sleep.  This morning I find out one of the Ethernet ports on my cablemodem (the port I normally use for this PC) is stone dead.  Luckily it had 2 other working ports, so I'm back online again.  Just the one thunderstorm cell in my area all night.

They’ve got hail, thunderstorm, and tornado watches up from San Antonio to Dallas Rope, but I agree it looks like a little bit of melodrama.

I've got a biological barometer in my back that feels that microcell coming in...

(The one by Killeen on the map.)

Right now, it's just gusty AF, but it was so nice earlier today!

A beautiful Easter Sunday morning. Low 60s, no wind and full sun. Highs in the mid 70s. Couldn't ask for a better day.
