For the middle of February, yesterday was a great day. Temps way above seasonal norms, 31 above (F)  :D

This morning woke up to -8...yes below zero, but that has now (as I type) dropped further to -13 with gusty winds, making the wind chill factor -34. :emot_weird:

Wife and I wimped out and stayed home from the gym today.

We have 7° with windchill making it -9° so not as bad. Seen 4 vehicles in the ditch on the way to work. All SUVs and trucks.  We've had 6 appointment cancellations already.  Going to be a super slow day.

Cold rain and mud, so much mud.  I park the truck I usually drive to work just off the street in the grass, partly in a ditch.  That grass is now mud.  If I didn’t keep the left tires on the road, I would be stuck in the mud regardless of 4WD.  I did get stuck for days last week.  It’s 45F now, but Friday’s low is forecasted to be 15F and lows below freezing through the weekend.  I’m looking forward to that.  I won’t get stuck in the mud if it freezes.

What a difference a few states make. I'd love to have it warm up into the 40s. :D

Three to four inches of snow over a layer of slush/ice; strong winds; and a temperature of 17 degrees greeted us this morning.  The 40s sound very warm right now.

Covered in snow and ice, freezing. Tomorrow bitter cold. But 30+ on Saturday, then 40, then 40's, then almost 50.

It's 7:00 AM CST. Another below zero morning, -11 F.
For the second day in a row we wimped out on going to the gym. A couple years ago that would never have stopped us.

0 degrees here at 7:30 CST.  Contrary what Chirp has said, I am not horny at these temperatures.  ;D

Minneapolis temps hit 50 degrees yesterday! Warmest temp in 127 days. Snow is melting with some bare ground showing. We've had snow on the ground since November. We could have a chance at a real spring maybe.

Too many years we've gone from winter to summer with no spring to  speak of. Keeping fingers crossed.

Strawberries, tomatoes, onions, potatoes, cabbage, arugula, zucchini, squash.  Then we’ve got the dill, cilantro, rosemary, jalapeños.  There are probably others.  My wife is in charge of that.  We’ve got peach and nectarine trees also.

Arugala grows wild in my yard after the recent rains.

I love peaches, but they don't grow well here.  Citrus grows great though!  I might put some tomatoes in. They grow fine until June when we hit triple digits.

Freezing rainy, drizzly, snow like garbage. Bad weather makes for a slow day. People so quick to cancel appointments, and nobody is spending any extra time outside.  Not going to complain about that though

Sunny, light breeze, puffy white clouds with a light blue background. After a day of rain, the little birds are skittering across the lawns searching for a morsel or a sunning worm. Not dressed yet but debating which light top to wear with my shorts.

Saw a sign of early spring yesterday. Someone was taking their motorcycle out of storage.  :D

Green grass can't be far behind. :emot_wave2:

I don't think I've posted here in weather in a while, but with sh*t hitting the windows and branches all over the subdivision streets today, fig'd I would.

And second day in a row that I've gone AA Milne on y'all.
