Things are starting to get scrunchie here. Quite a few leave down and crunching underfoot as I walk.

Temp this week above normal. Nearly 80 this afternoon. Lots of wind with the warm temps... adding to the leaf storm. And it's early...only a few trees have changed color. By next week it will be a different story.

Of course.  Hot cocoa and coffee.  It is a great combination on chilly mornings.  I usually only have one cup of it.

It got to 70°.  Warmest day coming up is only predicted for 75°.

Another day in the 70s. Getting a lot of wind with it tho'.

Went on a little shopping jaunt and our route took us over the Minnesota River. Lots of color now. WOO Mother Nature. (Is she a member here?)

Finally a full week of temperatures under 100F in Tucson, AZ.

Nights dipping into the 60's.  I'm very pleased.

Damn dust storm kicked up in Kansas, and descended on Texas ahead of a cold front.  90 miles wide and just sucky hazy brown everything.

Chilly and windy still. North of us they're getting snow.

The leaves were fantastic this year, but we never were able to take a road trip. Still lots of color just around the city.

Leaves are barely changing here.  Next weekend was thinking of a drive on the Blueridge Parkway in Shenandoah NP.  The colors should be peaking next weekend.

Its peak colors where I am, but you cant go out and look because it's too windy, too rainy, and too damn cold.  For me anyways.  Door county this time of year is absolutely gorgeous, but too damn cold and too damn windy  :emot_banghead:

Predicated for tomorrow in Minneapolis...two to three inches of snow. Yes, we've had October snow before, even a blizzard one Halloween. Over a foot of snow that shut down the entire state.

After so many years up north, I should be used to this. Guess what...it still sucks. >:(

Dark and miserable. I complained about the sun, now I'm complaining about there being no sun. I hate sun in the Summer, not when it's chilly and windy out.  :roll:
