Maybe 5 degrees warmer here. And all sun. Was able to put up the outdoor Christmas decorations without being bundled up, like I usually am. Seeing lawn service companies still cutting grass and picking up leaves this time of the year is rare around here, but they are out in full force today.

We've had some warm weather again and most of the snow is gone. Oh... it's Minnesota. Snow starting tonight and into tomorrow. Looking at 2-4 inches.

What they like to call plowable snow. Well, it has to start sometime. :(

So, in the above post I wrote that we were told to expect 2-4 inches of snow. It's the end of November so not unexpected.

Next thing I know woke up to winter storm warning with maybe six inches headed our way. Well we got that and a little more... official report is 8.4 inches.

Coming down so fast in the afternoon the airport closed down. I had an appointment at the VA. Besides the snow it was icy underneath.

Last night my neighbors were hard at work clearing my walks. I opened the door to thank them and wow, the neighbor across the street was helping them.

Have I mentioned on here that I love my.neighbors. Yeah I know, but they are great.

It hasnt been too bad cold wise and all the snow around men had melted, but that wind picked up and and now it feels like 12 below (f) according to the radio. While in this mornings jog, my nipples confirm this estimation.

The wind chill here, when we walked this morning, had to be in the single digits. Lil Ricky was proof of just how cold it was.  ;D

Currently 22C with a forecast high of 24C today, 25 tomorrow and then cooling to the 20-22 range for the rest of the week. But, hey, it's almost mid-December in Baja Sur. The one thing we have noticed is that we are really acclimatized this year. We sit indoors in the evening wearing sweaters when the inside temperature is 23C.

Gray cloudy skies over Minneapolis too. Been a few days now. Only upside is the temperature is staying in the 30s. That's warm for the north country in December.

I don't think it made it out of the 40s today and it's not forecasted to get any better.  It sucks because I have a small painting job outside that I can't do until it's over forty and I hoped to not have to wait for spring.  It's supposed to get over forty on Friday, but it's also supposed to rain.  Fuck me.  I keep in mind though, I could be painting in Ukraine right now, so I'm not really going to complain.
