I was going through my extensive collection of anime when a series drew my attention:
Gate: And thus the JSDF Fought there.
It was a solid story, a mysterious gate appears in modern japan, and monster and medieval soldiers flood out of it, only to be decimated by modern weaponry. Then the JSDF sent in tanks and helicopters and all the infantry they could. It turned into a question: Who would win, a thousand modern soldiers versus 100k medieval soldiers? (spoiler alert, the modern won)
But a scene made me laugh and I hope it makes you laugh too.
Three girls from the other side of the gate are sent to the Japanese Diet, basically to smear the JSDF in their handling of the situation. One girl looks quite young and wields a huge battle axe.
The reaction to her real age reveal is priceless.
