Don't ask me.
I'm just as clueless about life as you are.

"Fool In The Rain" is one of my favorite songs of all time!

Love that song!

How about Radiohead's "Reckoner" set to "I will always love you."  You can actually hear the song in the song.

Is all music really just a variation of "I will always love you"?  THINK ABOUT IT.

Do not, under any cicumstances, watch this.

Seriously, I use it to get other songs (Usually "What's new Pussycat") out of my head, but I'm weird.

("Woaoaoah!")

Damnit!

The most overly played song in the Detroit area.   It's played at every Tiger game and other major games.  All because of line 3....

Just a small town girl living in a lonely world
She took the midnight train going anywhere
Just a city boy born and raised in South Detroit...

If you live in the Detroit area, you know this song by heart.

Great, now I have it stuck in my ear for the night.

He took the midnight train going anywhere

A singer in a smoky room
A smell of wine and cheap perfume
For a smile they can share the night
It goes on and on and on and on...

Confession, I always thought it was smoke filled room

I must confess I love this song, because I am a small town boy.

My son loves it too.  He said they sang it in Tanzania this summer.  “Smell of wine and cheap perfume” is his evocative line.

I’ve always said I’d like to own a MLB team so I could play this during the 7th inning stretch...

Had this stuck in my head for DAYS, and could not identify it.  Finally turned to FB for help, and a state district Judge I know said, “Oh, that’s China Grove.”  I’m sure he’ll say something the next time I’m in his court.

Okay, so in my tired state, my brain just planted this in my head:

Which has now raised the question: what theme tunes (TV show or film) get stuck in your head? Do they pop in at the most inopportune times? Do you hear them and go, "What the fuck are you doing in here?"

I'm sure everyone has at least one (some may have many, if Chirp's nostalgia thread is anything to go off), so go ahead and tell us what they are. (Oh, and no laughing!)
