I am so hungry right now. But it is 9 o’clock (twenty one hundred for you Europeans). I’ve got nothing to make in the house, and I don’t have the energy to go out and shop to buy some thing. And I don’t feel like spending an arm and a leg for an Uber delivery. So I guess I’m going to go to bed hungry. Boo.

Twizzlers. I havent had them in a long time, I saw them while getting some coffee and impulse purchased three packages, (shareable size) One whole bag down, two to go. I can't stop eating them

String cheese. Wasn't looking for it, wasn't in the mood for it, but when I saw it, like the twizzlers, I had to have it. Had three pieces already.

Oh, and I don't peel and eat it like you're intended to. I'll eat it one of two ways. I dip it in cocktail sauce and consume, but it I don't have that, I bite a piece off, use my tongue and teeth to peel off a sliver and then I tuck the big part in my cheek and eat the peeled off part.

Why do I do it this way?? Hell if I know but been doing it for years. Think it has something to do with keeping my hands free because I'll put the main peice back in the wrapper until my next bite.

Went to a fantasy football draft party last night.  The amount of food was crazy.  The hostess sent me home with a half loaf of lemon bread, which I loved.  I loved my own, but her icing was so good. 

It is going very good with coffee right now.

Tonight was corn 🌽 on the cob night. I picked up three ears at the VA's Farmers Market. Every Tuesday three vendors set up.

Nothing like sweet corn fresh from the field.

Ok... I'm weird. Since I was a kid I eat my sweet corn by putting a large glob of butter on my plate. I add salt and pepper and spread the mixture on the corn. All 4 of my wives thought I was crazy doing it this way. My present wife just accepts it. Maybe that's why she's a keeper. :D

We would just roll the hot corn along the top of a whole stck of soft butter, then added way more salt than needed.   It wasn't until years later that my brother in law came into our lives and shook Parmesan cheese on it.  It blew my mind and knew he was someone special, hahaha.  I've been using it ever since and have introduced new people to it.

I have a clean teeth fetish and hate the corn between my teeth.   I brush and floss before clean up the mess from dinner.  I hate corn caught between  my teeth while eating.
