Well, not so much a 'Funny Pic' as such, but more an interesting fact and a lovely oil painting. 'Flaming June' is an expression often used sarcastically in the UK when we cast scorn on the indiferrent summer weather.Here's Frederic (later Lord) Leighton's lovely masterpiece……which guarantees I'll have something pleasant to contemplate when we have more rain later this week.If you're interested, there's more of the story here: Leighton's Flaming June to go on display in studio where it was painted.
