I've been going to musicals for as long as I can remember. I know it's not to everyone's taste but some of my favourite easy listening tracks are classic musical songs.

Les Misérables - Bring Him Home, I could listen to this song endlessly

Colm Wilkinson does it best! I am in love with Lea Salonga (eponine in dream cast, fantine in 20th anniversary celebration, singing voice of jasmine and mulan)

I feel like on my own describes me perfectly. I am an avid singer and love all of les mis. Here is a gorgeous video of Lea Salonga and guy merola

I can't make it work... the 'how to' video says just paste the YouTube URL and the forum software will automatically embed the video... it's not working, let me try the embed code from YouTube...
No joy, I've asked coacheric for help.

I can't see any embedded videos.., so I can't tell if it worked or not, but now at least there's a URL to click on.

I've always liked that myself, TD.

Michelle was a freak for all the WICKED songs.   I enjoyed the show also, but listening to the songs in the car or at the house got to be a bit much.

Being season subscribers to the Broadway shows in Detroit at the Fisher Theatre gave us opportunity to attend shows we normally wouldn't purchase tickets to.   One of the surprise productions was AVENUE Q.   Picture the muppets, but in Rated R.   They speak on racism, homosexuality, sex, and...
Porn on the internet.
Yes, Porn on the internet.   Who knew?

One of my favorite songs from Brigadoon.......what with all of Toe's "falling in love" and such, I imagine he has a big smile for everybody.  Love you daddy!

Almost Like Being in Love performed by James Taylor

Les Mis is definitely my favorite. So many dynamics and contrasts. It is a masterpiece.

The line near at the end "to love another person is to the see the face of God" always bring me to tears.

For my contribution, I will choose the Bishop's song, portrayed by Colm Wilkinson in latest movie version.

My favourite has to be 'Music of the Night' in the Phantom of the Opera... brilliant show, fantastic songs but a complete show etched on my mind forever...

This song is from Once which was a move and then a broadway production.

Falling Slowly performed by Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova

I don't know you
 But I want you
 All the more for that
 Words fall through me
 And always fool me
 And I can't react
 And games that never amount
 To more than they're meant
 Will play themselves out

Take this sinking boat and point it home
 We've still got time
Raise your hopeful voice you have a choice
 You'll make it now

Falling slowly, eyes that know me
 And I can't go back
Moods that take me and erase me
 And I'm painted black
 You have suffered enough
 And warred with yourself
 It's time that you won

Take this sinking boat and point it home
 We've still got time
Raise your hopeful voice you have a choice

 You've made it now
 Falling slowly sing your melody
 I'll sing along
