Warm weather.   It should hit 87 today.   Have planned an evening 10 mile run with a friend.   Can't wait for work to be over with.

It's windy, but warm. I've drank so much ice cold water in the past couple of days.

Even the kids have been guzzling cold water. We're all still stuck in winter mode.

Normally, lack of sleep I feel like poo.   For some reason, not this morning.   Feeling silly this morning.   Just in a good mood.

Our three day warm spell came crashing down this morning. From high 80s to now in high 40s.  Will send it your way.... ;D

Waking up to my daughter asking me if I was ok. To which I said no, but her being the first thing I saw today made it much better.  :D

What?  Express delivery wasn't necessary.      It's here.  :(     51 right now.   I had to run an errand the past hour and I'm freezing.

My son getting a snare part on the drum line for next year.  The only underclassman to do so.

A "long lost" friend got back in touch after a year's silence.

A long phone call really made my week!

Two weeks ago, I took my car in for some relatively simple work -- oil change, check the brakes, replace the rear wiper blade (and arm cuz I was stupid) and check out the shuddering I was experiencing on acceleration. Turns out my car needed a new clutch. I'm thinking "Oh boy. Big bill coming."

The made my day --- free clutch. While there was no recall on these things, Ford extended the warranty on the transmission (including clutch) on the 2011-15 Fiestas.

Took it in last Tuesday. Got the call on Wednesday that it was ready. The dealership is close so I'll walk. One small problem -- 40mph winds and raining. I walked in looking like a drowned rat.

That is all.

Bittersweet day yesterday.

My sister passed away 3 years ago yesterday.   We picked my brother in law up and brought him back to the house.   We looked at pictures and videos.   Some of my sisters friends and family stopped by.   It was a beautiful day and fun remembering how much she meant to all of us and how she affected us.   Some former co-workers of hers stopped by also.    Just a very special day remembering her.

And everybody got a chance to meet my boyfriend.   I've gotten a few emails and texts today from people that met him for the first time, saying that I appear very happy.   Which I am.   My parents also got the chance to meet his daughters as they stopped by for a bit.  Such sweet girls.   Love them too.

Great day!  I got some really great drugs, followed by deep anal penetration!  Most action I've seen since....since, well I guess my last colonoscopy. :emot_laughing:

The downside was only getting four hours of sleep, drinking 4 liters of Golytely and no doubt increasing our water bill for this month after all the toilet flushings.
Better news, only one teeny polyp found, so I don't have to do this again for five years, rather than the three year gap since my last one.

Joking aside, any of you over 50, or with family history of colon cancer, get your check up scheduled.  Really, good drugs and best of all, early detection if there is something up the old "poop chute". (other than your head ;D)

Well trained and been made compliant....by my cat Neville
