New phone.  12 Pro Max.  So bright and crisp and LOUD.  I didn’t realize how worn out my 4 year old 7 Plus was.  Kind of like my worn out everything.

Nice!   I got daddy a Max with his last phone (10, I think).  He needed the bigger screen.  I used it one day to see if I'd like it.  Just a bit too big for my small hand.

That’s not what you told me...

To be honest, I spent about 12 hours fucking with this thing before it worked right.  There is a new iOS update 14.1.2 that addresses problems with SMS messages (I could neither send nor receive), then I had to swap out SIMs cards with my old phone, but it all seems to be working now... knock on wood.  Speaking of wood...

Recalling a Thanksgiving from about 15 years ago.

Made my day recalling the memory.
Ruined my day that a few of those in the memory are no longer here. I miss them so much, I wish they could have met Dan.  They would have loved him, and he them.

Took the baby grocery shopping with me. Went down the chips aisle and another mommy with her baby was there. Hers was also pretty, blonde and had a cute wittle cleft chin.  ;D

She said "your daughter is beautiful". I said the same about hers. And she said "they could be sisters they look so much alike" Then I said for all I know they could be. To which she said "For my husbands sake, let's hope they're not".  ;D

Finding out Minnesota is number one for third time in a row!  Number one in what you ask? Voter turnout...79.96% of eligible voters cast ballots.

A big push was made to "get out the vote" on one of our Native American reservation got a much larger turnout than ever. Oh...and 90% voted for President Elect Biden.

Maybe our sports' teams can't bring home a championship, but we can vote!
