Here's an oldie American Home Shield "dug up".
Door bell rings. Woman answers it. It's the Grim Reaper!
But he's not there for her. He's there for her steel refrigerator. Tongue
He proceeds to go around the house and reap her washer/dryer, her central air unit, as she freaks out in the background. ;-)

I've been lazy updating this. Tongue Every time I see a funny/great commercial it's late a night and I don't feel like "taking a memo".

I've only seen two Temptations Cat Treats commercials. The second one is really hilarious.
The narrator says "One Shake . . . And cats come running. So be careful what you shake."
So it's Christmas [freakin' already?!?] and a kid shakes a Christmas present under the tree. A billion cats converge in the boy!
At the end the narrator says "Temptation Cat Treats - Be Careful What You Shake."

I got a kick out of that too. Our two also respond to the "shake".
It also reminded me of the herding cats ad from the Super Bowl several years ago.  Must be a lot of work training and working with hundreds of cats at the same time.

"What?" You say it's all faked with computers? Well f**k, another bubble burst. facepalm

I love the Portal TV commercials where The Muppets video chat through their televisions.
The newest one got me real good, when Kermit sang "Rainbow Connection". At the end he sings

"The lovers
The dreamers
And me..."

When I was a kid I'd thought he'd sang

"My brothers
The beavers
And me..."

The car insurance people ate putting out funny commercials. I love the Liberty Mutual commercial with the struggling actor who "needs all the breaks I can get". I also love the Progressive commercial where Flo and her co-workers come out of the corn stalk field and freak out the guy!  emot_laughing
GEICO also has "sequel fever", bringing back fan favorites like Pinocchio, the raccoons and others.

I just saw this for the first time last night, though when I Googled it I found out it was two weeks old.
Flo from Progressive is chatting with your favorite tall, hairy creature that lives in and hides out in the woods and mountains - and mine. He was depressed that no one is interested in him any more, they only want to take pictures of their RVs and ATVs.
Flo explains to him they bundled their auto, home, RV and ATV insurances and "they're just excited to be saving money, Bigfoot."
"What did you call me?"
"Bigfoot,"
Awkward silence as he looks at his feet.
"My name is Daryl."

I saw that one. I always find it interesting that something as serious as insurance is sold with humor. Personally, I don't want advice from a gecko, a duck or any other good balls pitching their company.

We have American Family Insurance. Their ads are pretty straight and involved actual people.

Still I enjoy the funny ad... just won't buy their insurance. Cheesy

There’s a new Downy Wrinkle Guard commercial.  Granddad is helping grandma put a storage bin back, on the top shelf in the closet.  Granddad is imploring “Lift!  And push!”  They come out of the closet laughing, and encounter grandson with a horrified look on his face.  Their clothes are wrinkled, like they’d just enjoyed a good shagging.  The announcer states that Downy Wrinkle Guard will avoid such embarrassing misunderstandings.

Seriously?  Granddad should have winked and said, “I’ve still got it!  What are you staring at?”

Yes, I like that one too.  Funny.

Insurance commercials have upped their games.

I don't like Liberty Mutual in front of the Statue of Liberty.  Though their jingle is ear worm to me for some wierd reason.  Liberty Liberty Liberty....... Liberty.  Ugh, now it's in my head.

Geico with the one guy that seems to do everything in his offtime from Geico is funny.

Also my favorite are Mayhem as a dog with Tina Fey when he licks her face.   I'm dying every time I watch that.  I like all the Mayhem All State commercials.

You said GEICO, did you mean Jamie from Progressive, Jules?

Each and every time I see it, I can't stop laughing at the insanity of Boost Mobile's "Step Up With Boost Mobile, With 4 Lines For $100

...Or Don't"

A family fight over a single phone, destroying their living room in the process. The part that gets me is when. The dad crashes through the French door to escape with the phone! And I'd thought my childhood had been f*cked up...

GEICO has given me another favorite commercial.

A couple are praising their new home. Except they have a rat problem.
No, not a rat problem.
A Ratt problem.
Ratt is in the house singing "Round & Round". Love it!

Used to chat nearly every night with this girl.  At some point I’d use the cliche, ‘What are you wearing?’  This became a joke referencing the commercial, ‘What are you wearing Jake from State Farm?’  ‘Um, khakis. . .’

I like this one as well. However I always think "What the hell was so important that he had to call at 3:00am."
