It struck me that the girls with guns thread misses the point. So many people (and generally speaking, that's men) seem to drool over scantily or revealing clad women with a firearm, regardless of their apparent familiarity with them. The point is not sex, it's hardware.

I realized that I now can arm a small squad. And I relish it.

My collection is nearly complete.

I agree with anvil- beautiful words. Awesome collection of weapons (historical as well as modern) you have!!!
What kind of grouping can you get with the pu sniper? I have never fired one but have seen them in the family gun shop when I was a kid.

2.5 to 3 inches at 100 meters. I'm still getting used to the recoil.

I have fired at one time or another the first three rifles listed. It seems Katie is well positioned for the Zombie Apocalypse if it hits in Texas.  ;D

If I could do it more than once a shooting session I'd think so. Right now it's not as common as it should be. That rifle kicks the snot out of me.

Make sure it fits into your shoulder as tight as possible.  If you have a sling, make sure it is tight around your arm.

The sling is the only thing that has helped. I just got a reliable bipod to help with zero. It still kicks hard for my body mass.

A bipod is nice.  Some sandbags under the center of the rifle would help too.

But a great weapon. However if given a choice above anything, I'll always grab my M14A1 from The Springfield Armory. When I competition shoot that's my weapon of choice.
