Darn, I knew I shouldn't have finished that bottle of wine. Talk about a confused flight pattern... ;D ;D  After this flight, it's definitely into the hot tub for this old eagle.

I saw a hummingbird today feeding on the flowers on my deck.  It landed and rested on a tomato cage (I have several tomato plants on my deck too).  I think that was the first time in my life I ever saw a hummingbird land.  They are always wizzing about like bumblebees.  I see a hummingbird maybe once or twice a year, so it made my day.

You could be sitting on your deck and hear only a faint swoosh sound as they fly to the hummingbird feeder. Then see them for a fraction of a minute as they feed on the liquid and then off they go.

I have four hummingbird feeders on my front porch.  I see several each day.  Sometimes we will have five or six feeding at the same time.

Was circling over a few houses, and I took the pic while sitting at a stop sign.  The area I was st is notorious for the amount of rabbits.  Half the people dont bother planting anything because they destroy it.  I'm quite sure they were happy to look up and see this one flying around.

Although, My first thought was, hope their are no puppies or small dogs around

40th & Broadway is two blocks down from Time's Square. We'd be better served by meeting at a restaurant over in Hell's Kitchen, away from that huge tourist trap. Does 8:00 work for you?

Meanwhile, do you (or msslave) know what kind of bird that is? I know there are many peregrine falcons that live in the city, It's the right coloring, but I didn't know they have white stripes on their wings.
