Actually, to me anyways,  less is always more 'cause it comes from the heart.  That Beatles song, "Can't Buy Me Love," is oh so true.

Oh yeah boys....if you do forget an important date, know that it can't be undone....grovel for couple of days and let it be.

I had a guy tell me years ago the easiest way to not have to remember dates is don't start. He's divorced twice.

I just wanted to comment on what Liz said, about being able to say "I'm Sorry". My father felt he was too good to say things like "I'm sorry" or "Thank you". No one is above saying such things. There no excuse not to.

What also cannot be undone is when something is said in the heat of anger.  Better to count to ten before saying something you may regret.

We women have great memories.  Please remember this.

If ever in an argument with us, we're likely to snap at you for a similar thing you did in the past.  It's a very minor fault of ours.  And don't you dare snap back at us for bringing it up, it's our right.    It could have been from a week ago or 2 years ago.   NEVER EVER say, "I don't remember that."     You will be digging a deeper hole.   You are supposed to remember when you've hurt us before.    If you don't remember, just say, "Yeah, I'm sorry about that time too,"  then add something like, "I'm just a jerk sometimes and I don't deserve you."
It'll blow over eventually.
But we will remember.

IMO that's what girls should do to let a guy know they like him. If a guy likes a girl he should tease her and do it with a cocky smile. If she reacts with smiling / acting coy / playing along (or any of these combined), then you know she likes you too and you can take it further.

Some guy just 'smiling a lot' while speaking to me? That can come accross as weird / creepy / slimy etc.

Do the tease thing! It's fun! :)
