Hobbies?

If it helps with the ‘adult’ thing, I have a recurring fascination with model trains.  So yes, I like playing with toy trains.

Beyond that, omg.  Anything to do with the outdoors that also involves feeding myself, sightseeing or ‘roughing it’ in ways that simulate the past, but not outdoor activities like skiing, climbing, mountain biking etc.  I like to slowly experience nature, and don’t need to supplement that rush with something that prevents me from looking all around instead of staring at the next place my ski or tire tread needs to be.

Travel
Hiking
Camping in all it’s forms from as primitive as possible to my trailer with full hookups
Hunting
Shooting
Fishing
Canoeing
Gardening, mostly vegetables, but I like flowers too.
I kept fowl for eggs, might do that again soon
I used to collect both coins and stamps, still have my collections
Cooking and good food in general

No, it’s all fine.  I came here a long time ago. My life has changed a lot since then.  I’m married now and share a girlfriend with my wife.  Not really looking for anything else.  I just enjoy my KB friends.

SCUBA Diving (includes swimming also).
Horses (both professionally and privately).

I inherited a large collection of O gauge Lionel trains, but did not have any place to put them.  I thought my kids would be interested, but not really.  After 15 years of paying storage fees, I put them on eBay.  Within 15 minutes my phone was ringing off the hook... “Do not sell them before I make it to Texas!”  Less than a week later, I had a check for $12,000+ in my hand.  So yes, it is an expensive hobby.  I have a few much larger G gauge LGB trains, but I only put those up around the Christmas tree during the holidays.

Trains are a lot less relevant that they were when we were kids.  So, I'm not surprised that they're not as interested in them any more.

After years of being asked when I want this test done I finally am scheduled for mid-April. Just reading about what I have to do before the test is enough to make me not want to have it.  The nurse  kept asking me all these heart related questions and I had to ask her just how far up were they going to go? Probably will be my first and only time I will have this procedure. Ugh
