That's sad, so sending many sympathies... 98 is a good age... sounds like you really loved her... best advice is always to remember the good times you had together...

Just got a popup on my phone saying it will take me 1 hour 45 minute to get home.   Accidents all through Detroit.   Ugh       It barely snowed.

Finding out how much my sisters wedding will cost.

And then reminding myself she and her future wife will soon have a baby. And they're just college students. And they still eat here most of the time.

Wife and I were supposed to go shopping today. But... there's a fucking star wars marathon on TV today. I'm ok with it because she's not making me watch them with her. She's already going to force me to see rogue one on Friday.  :roll:

Stepping out of my office to sit in a three hour meeting only to return to my office and see my computer screen was displaying a KB message.     Anybody walking in would have seen this.    I was actually sick to my stomach thinking someone in my office might have read it.

I know this is from 4 days ago. But I have to ask -- do Detroit drivers think they live in Vancouver when it snows?


As for today -- woke up yesterday with a sore throat. It continues today. Apparently I chased my wife out of bed last night with my snoring (doesn't happen unless I have a head cold). On a 1-10 feel-like-crap scale, I'm probably at a 6 right now.

Yes, snow on the ground and the speed limit means nothing.  If it's a four wheel vehicle, they think they are the kings of the road.       

Headlines for....
......Thursday - Police ID third victim from last week's 53-vehicle pileup  (3 dead, 11 injured)

......then Saturday - 40-car pileup closes NB I-75 at Dixie Highway, 'gawkers' crash on SB 75 (37 injured)


We got 10 inches yesterday.   I was expecting a mess this morning, but main roads were fine............not good enough to go 75 or 80 mph, but some dumb dumbs still were.     I was in the cautious 45-55 mph lane to the far right.
