Letting the days go by, let the water hold me down.
Letting the days go by, water flowing underground.
Into the blue again after the money's gone.
Once in a lifetime, water flowing underground.

No one commented. Same as it ever was…

That was after one of my arguments with Allan, and I was stressing over everything. Mix that with some tequila, and I was hating on myself pretty bad. It happens from time to time.

As for the other thing. I'm never gonna stop worrying about when or if I may lose the use of my legs, or be able to walk faster than a crawl. I already use a cane sometimes, and my jogging is getting slower and shorter. My feet drag a lot more than they did when I first joined KB. age is a factor of that, and I find 8t difficult dealing with the realization that I may need to rely on somebody to do the simplest things. So 8n my head when I have all this anxiety and depressive thoughts, I think "what guy wants to be burdened with that?"  There are guys out there that are up for the challenge, but is the man I'm with one of them? Does he think he is until it becomes too much, and he has a change of heart. These are deep seeded fears I've had for as long as I can remember. Being made like I'm not good enough by my own bitch of a mother, and then fear of another bad choice in a man...

I can't just switch it off, and swallowing my fears and diving it head first hoping things turn out is easier said than done. As long as I dont get hit by a bus, I have an pretty solid picture of my future.

Barb and I and a few others on here will provide another option. Cheer up sweetie you are a catch for any person.

But there is nothing you can not overcome.  You just keep doing what you're doing to stay healthy. Stay active. Eat healthy. Love with all your heart.  Life has been throwing hurdles in my path for as far back as I can remember.  I've been knocked down pretty f'n hard, but I got back up, even if it took a couple of years.  Never ever give up.   Fight back. You have just one life.  Always fight for your best life.

Don't waste time worrying.  Live the now

God’s way of reminding me I am as old as dirt. I won’t tell David Byrne.

Can’t get any of my diabetes shots. Daily or weekly insulins. This shit is so messed up. All I’m going to do is slide backwards on all the advances I’ve made

Buy some generic Novolin R and 70/30 at Walmart. $25 a vial. For emergencies. I haven’t had health insurance in 15 years. So you do what you have to.

Sadly I’m on one of the weekly shots. Not the ones they have on tv but one of the ones they keep giving for weight lose. That’s the one that has really helped me. I know I can get the insulin at Walmart. I had to do that once already. The weekly helped lower all my numbers and get me almost off daily insulin shots

Client getting drunk at 8:30 last night, trying to start a conversation about resolution of her case, then getting her husband involved, then both of them calling my boss to complain, and my boss now wanting to have a telephone conference today at 3:30 PM. Thank you very much bitch.

Wife's eyesight is getting worse. For years she has taken 😘 of the banking and finances.

Today she asked me what was due on the city sewer, water and trash collection bill. Usually a little over $100. At first glance I saw $800 and something. WHAT!

At a second glance I realized it was a credit. Now it's.WTF. A call to the city and we were told we'd made a payment of over $1000 a couple months ago. Guess wife hot an extra zero or something when she sent it the information to the bank to pay the bill. No way to get.a refund so our city utilities are covered for six  or seven months.

I hate doing the bills, can't even remember my password for the bank accounts. Guess that's going to have to change

My landlord did an inspection on our property back on March 11. So she waits until March 31, at 10:00 PM, to send over a four page letter with a list of demands including additional security deposits, moving people out, signing a new lease, and raising the rent $300. And I am just what the fuck. I’ve known this woman for a decade. I consider her a surrogate daughter. And this letter was obviously written by a lawyer and it was offensive. So now I’ve got a clean out a whole house I’ve occupied for 5 years, in less than 30 days time. But we’ll get it done. What a cunt.

What really happened? She recently lost her job after having two children about 12 months apart. So she wants to be a stay-at-home mom. And that’s fine. She could’ve talked to me about it, and I wasn’t going to give her shit. But now, I’m not going do her any favors, including paying rent for April.

I tend to hate April 1st. My dad past away 12 years ago today. Still miss him all the time. Still have moments of breakdown. Just ready to go home and drink the day away

Memory eternal. Sending hugs. Your dad had an odd sense of humor. I will be more likely to pass on Christmas or Easter, you know, so I can fuck up the holidays for everybody, forever.

My April Fools story is closing on an 80 year old house I called “the money pit”. 1988.  My first ex loved it. I hated it, and it just wrecked us, our finances, and our relationship. I am always reminded of that on April 1.

I can imagine the kind of relationship you must have had with your dad where 12 years later it still hits you that hard. My heart goes out to you love.

Visited my friend who's been in the VA since October 1st. Think he's trying to set a new record. His wife called while I was there and they exchanged a few words and he hung up. Said she was at some kind of medical thing.

I didn't feel good about the call, some sixth sense. Tried calling her later last night, no answer. Tried again this morning and after hellos, first thing she told us was she's in the hospital again... congestive heart problems.

We watched her go down hill since hubby went to the hospital. In there every day and running errands while taking care of the house and dog.

Heart flared up and she ended up needing a pacemaker.
Now her blood pressure has skyrocketed and there's fluid around her heart and lungs. That's put her back in the hospital again.

Don't know how hard I should push my friend about what he's doing to his wife. He's suffering early stages of dementia which has slowed down his getting out of the VA. Seeing two good friends having.so many medical problems is hard. I want to do more, yety physical shape isn't so hot either.
