Today being 7/11, all seven eleven stores are offering a free Slushi. oops, I mean Slurpie (if there is a difference).

There isnt a 7/11 within an hour of my home... it would.coat me twice as much in gas goes a freebie.

This has been a yearly ritual for my grandkids since they learned to walk. They're adults now and still look forward to it. They also go to Dutch Brothers Coffee on their birthday each year for a free latte or mocha.

I remember a few years back when 7-11 started this up.  But near the end of the school year.
In my local two one  store had 2 high schools of students try to get the free slushes.
The POPO had to be called. A few fist fights broke out.  Manger was assaulted when he tried to lock the doors close down for  till the students left.
