So many of you have written but never posted. Let's get those stories done and out.  ;D

I usually write to/about a specific girl

I haven’t posted here yet for two reasons.  I have my own site for my stories, but lately the only reason is the rules.  I put a disclaimer that mentions what I think is important to warn people of with some exceptions.  Sometimes clearly indicating content ruins any reader surprise.  We all know what kind of sites these are, and they are posted in sections you shouldn’t be reading in if you’re that sensitive of a soul.  And those story codes, fuck, it was easier for codebreakers in London (who were Polish I might add) to break the Nazi Enigma code than it is to figure out those story codes.

That rant stated, I get aroused far more from writing these days and mulling over ideas than I do from reading.  I read less than I should, especially being a story mod elsewhere.

I'm a f'ing slow writer.  So much so that my 'mind' is usually one or two stories ahead of my Word documents...
It totally is a bitch :(

I do get off from them from time to time, but not while writing them... More like 'inventing' them...

Don't ask me.
I'm just as clueless about life as you are.

I totally know what you mean, although I'm equally the procrastinating writer, partly because I'm too busy boning one off to all my story ideas. Like, I currently have four in my mind: two continuations, a "commission" of sorts, and a new one.

Which reminds me...

Extinguishing the Flame is available on Amazon and supports Australian Bush fire relief.

Well, there's also the flip-side of this.  We may write to get turned on, or we can also write because we're horny, as a sexual outlet.  I do both, but on here, in the morning, I generally wake up horny, masturbate with my partner, then write until I lose the mood.

I totally feel you on that.
I have about half a dozen unfinished stories, four that I'm currently working on, and more then a dozen other ideas kicking around inside my head.
Doesn't seem to be letting up either.
In fact I just got a new idea this morning that is just too delicious not to write.

My feeling is that if you aren't getting at least a little aroused while writing sex scenes then it's pretty crummy erotica.
When I get hot while writing I kind of lean into it.
I try to craft my words in a way that turns me on even more because that's where I want to take my readers.
The closest thing I can compare it to is edging.
If I don't stain my boxers with precum I feel like I'm not doing my job correctly.
This seems to work for me, but mine isn't the only way to go, and I would never tell another writer that their method is somehow wrong.
If it works for you then go that way, but I know what works for me.

Jesus, this isn't a contest, but I have more than that just in Alternate Reality alone!

No, it isn't a contest, but just to be clear all of these stories are in what I call active memory, which is to say they're all set in my head and I've but to write them.
For instance this idea I had this morning is already set in my head, but I don't follow up every idea because there are just too many.
And this is just erotica we're talking about.

You multi-task too?  I mean, you can work on multiple stories at once, and keep them separate in your head, instead of time-sharing.  (Also called "Multi-tasking" in computer processing, but now that we have other computers than Amigas with parallel processors, they don't use Pseudo-sequential task switching as much as actual multi-tasking in parallel.)

I actually started out a Fantasy/Scifi/Horror writer, but figured out pretty early on that I can get more views in Erotic story sites.  (Like ASSTR before that crashed, and Usenets before that.)  Honestly, any story can be an "Erotic" story, you just have to add a sex scene to it.  However, it helps to put in at least Sexual tention/Nudity at the beginning to catch their interest, if they came for an Erotic Story.  If you spend too much time on say Worldbuilding before someone at least takes their clothes off, they'll lose interest, and find a More erotic story fairly quickly.

I find that a good story is, in and of itself, a suspenseful adventure for both the author and reader, and isn't that much like sex?  If you know exactly what is going to happen it's not exciting at all.  But if you let your emotions guide you, oh wow...

About 2 or 3 years ago I stopped writing.  I had doubts I’d ever write erotica again.  But about a month ago a story kept percolating in my thoughts (and my pants).  It was a continuation of a story I posted here, one of the few.  Probably less than 10% of my writing is here.  Since my site lost nearly all it’s content, the only place most of my writing is (to my knowledge anyway) is on an old laptop.  So this story set in the old west, 4 chapters about 2 girls posted here, has at least 5 other chapters on that old laptop.  Well, tapping on my iPad I got a 2 chapter continuation going, several pages so far.  For now it’s an outlet for my horniness.  Maybe if I dust off that old laptop I can retrieve the rest of it, so hate it when things are not in order.

Sometimes I wake up and I start to whip the chicken a little and fantasies form in my head and I'm like - shit, I should go write this down but I don't want to stop and by the time I've finished and had a shower it's all faded away.

My favourite erotica author,  'RENPET',  observed that "If I do not have an erection as I am typing a story then the story is  a DUD".

Likewise as the reader, if I do not have an erection as i am reading the the story it is a DUD!   And If I am not prompted to masturbate during the reading I do not bother with it again. That very rarely happens with RENPET.
Personally I prefer erotica in the 10 to 15,000 words so that I can enjoy the story, the scene and the acts to gain an erection and masturbate all in the one reasonably short episode.  My big exception to that is the classic Victorian erotica, 'The Pearl'.  I read that a chapter at a time and masturbation is guaranteed.

I don't know about erotic writers, but I have taken advantage of myself after spinning a particularly smutty yarn on the internets

The first time I tried to write 'fiction' about my 3some encounters I had to 'pause' 3 times to take a 'break'. It was hard as FUCK to get that story finished.

A few years ago I wrote a few stories on reddit about this girl I dated back in my early 20. We started as porn buddies and it escalated. We both had some kinks, we would explore. It was crazy I was cumming harder from the stories than back when we were actually doing the things.

Does depend on if I am writing a story for me on a topic/theme I can enjoy, then yes can get quite turned on, and then it is fun to see how long I can continue to write without doing anything about that building arousal.

Sometimes I have written on intentionally uncomfortable topics to explore them, or written for enjoyment of others on topics that don't do much for me, and then not so much, may feel other intense emotions during that though depending on what I am writing.

Yes, I often become very horny when I'm writing a story. I usually have a clear "movie" in my mind and many scenes in that "movie" get me hard as fuck. If I run that movie while having sex with my partner(s), I may get to experience a biblical-scale ejaculation that forces me to become quite vocal in the way I express my unbridled sexual bliss.

So yes, many scenes make me horny AF as I write them. Sometimes it becomes too intense and I have to stop and get some solitary or assisted relief.

You don't see a lot of me these days because 1) my real-life sex has taken a turn for the better, and 2) I'm writing chapters of a long-winded story on Literotica in French. I'm a bit pissed since I learned about non-consent being banned only a few hours ago, but I know it's not your fault and I still love you all the same.
